Plus lots weren't playing anyway with it being half term, my lad has no game (although he'd have chosen city anyway) so hopefully won't be too many missing.
Still block 5 to open and still some seats in block 26 reserved for potg not yet released. That's about it, but obviously will be usual gaps where people don't turn up.
For a midday game on sky against Millwall, that really is an excellent turn out.
This shouldn't be underestimated. A big home tie, with TV and prize money could be worth up to 750K. That's probably the equivalent of 2.5K+ season ticket holders.
It's good to see the facility in the hands of owners willing to invest in it. It's in quite a state externally, but I am sure this will be addressed. The area around the CBS is also in a sorry state, but there seems to be progress here too. Construction on the new hotel starts this year...
Not really one for match vlogs really, but enjoyed this one. All the focus is always on SC for atmosphere, but this shows how lively it is over the other side of the ground.
Wembley tickets sold out 5 days before the game - TICKETS: Play-Off Final - General Admission sold-out, Disabled tickets remain available - were some empty seats on the day though, probably allocated to sponsors or something.
I saw a stat once, when two teams play each other back to back in league and cup games it's rare that a team wins both. I know it should be meaningless, but one of those weird football anomalies that we'll no doubt add to.
