Wouldn’t mind a bit of Beundia (preferable all of him).

    Football Question

Think it’s explained above that the ‘default’ score of 1500 can go down as well as up, so if a player doesn’t play his score can be higher than someone that has played 10 games and lost points (so to speak).

Totally agree. I like Yorkshire in general and have lived there / have family there. But living in Sheffield (at the time), there was a definite difference in Barnsley. Less, erm, multicultural.

I went for a few beers many years ago. Was with a lad from Bradford of Hindu persuasion. Walked into one pub and four bottles flew over our heads and smashed on the wall behind us. Didn’t stay long.

I’d completely forgotten that you South Yorkshire types use the word “while” for “until”. Confused the hell out of me at Uni when lecturers said a lecture was “9 while 10” — wtf?

    Scariest time at a ground.

I was at uni In Sheffield at the time and couldn’t get ticket in the away end, so sat in their bit with my Mrs. Managed to stay quiet all the way through until they scored the winner and some big northern twat started shaking me about (he thought I was a shef fan). When he saw I didn’t react in...

    Scariest time at a ground.

Portsmouth one I remember was when we relegated them (late 80’s?) and a few of them climbed over a fence in the sky blue stand before the “I o legion” chant went out and they got chased back again pretty quickly. Wasn’t all that bad really (although it was a while ago so memory might be dodgy) ...

Agreed. Leeds fans are reet twats.

    Scariest time at a ground.

That’s what I remember. Leeds fans ran on, load of kids from the west terrace when to meet them, Leeds fans ran at them and they all turned and legged it back to the west terrace. Was quite funny, in a “your not very hard” kind of way. Same game in the Sky Blue stand a Leeds fan (who was so...

Was that the one where Dublin rose like a salmon to nod in (I think) the 2nd goal? Was a bit hairy after that one as memory serves.

Yeah, he was let down by his players today. First half they were abject, but some of that was down to us closing them down so well. A few weeks ago a team without Kelly and with Shipley might have struggled a bit, but thought Shipley had a good game today, and Sheaf / Hamer / O’Hare.

Genuinely think they were the worst team we’ve played this season and 1-2 flattered them. The number of times we dispossessed them in midfield was ridiculous, thought Rowet was going to have an aneurysm at one point. As you’d expect, they made more of a go of it in the second half, but anything...

Well deserved in the end. Millwall looked poor at times though.
