The guy is a fucking moron, no idea why I have bothered. I need to draw him a picture with some crayons to explain the direction of travel and the fact Thomas isn't static 🤣🤣🤣

That is absolute rubbish Thomas isn't occupying a space he is moving towards his leg and continues after he strikes the ball. You are wrong and frankly clueless. Also how can you speak for Robins he said straight away it was no ummm or ahhh or I haven't seen it back.He specifically said yes it's...

Well he does as he makes contact with the player after the ball it's the definition of a lunge! lunge noun noun: lunge; plural noun: lunges a sudden forward thrust of the body, typically with an arm outstretched to attack someone or seize something.

I'd agree with this. As I said above wondering if the ref played on to see if we could take advantage but then he gave a foul for the 2nd offense so you'd assume not!

Agreed, I said during the game I thought it was a terrible decision. The more I saw of it and the angles the players were running at the more I realised I was wrong. I also think the fact Thomas doesn't go nuts at the ref or the other players tells you what you need to know.

Ok yeah Thomas didn't lunge in to get the ball at all 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 good one.

He didn't create the contact!!!!! I'm going to give up responding soon but their player was going forward Thomas goes from right to left. He doesn't have much time to run forward before Thomas makes contact with his leg in fact he actually stutters his run aiming to avoid contact in the split...

What do you expect their player to do when he has been lunged towards and has to react in less than a second?
  10. S

    Ref

Any tackle where the player catches the other player on the thigh yes probably will be given.

    Ref

Absolutely the worst decision of the game. The only thing I can think is he was playing advantage to see if we could get a goal with the keeper out?

Their player runs straight Thomas makes the lunge.

Mate you are deluded if it was the other way round you'd be screaming.

Not if both players are going for the ball and have a chance of going for it. If it was a diving header in to someone's thigh I'm not sure how that would play out...

He didn't initiate the contact Thomas dived across he carried on running straight. Thomas initiated the contact. Just because it was half a second after the ball was played doesn't make it less true.

It wasn't contact with his foot or shin it was his thigh I don't think you'd get away with it anywhere on the pitch.

It isn't a red card I have repeatedly said that but on balance I think it is a pen.

    Ref

The player would have left his feet so wouldn't be at a normal height you'd expect them so I'd suggest no foul given. His boot doesn't strike their players foot it's a fair way up the leg which makes it different. I think there's a fair amount of Sky blue glasses being used here. Similarly...

I can't believe this is a hill you are willing to die on after everyone in the sky studio and Mark Robins said it was a pen I'd trust their judgement over yours any day of the week.

All I'm saying is he makes contact and that gives the ref a decision to make. I think it's way worse as his leg is locked out so rather than hitting and crumpling it lifts the player off the ground. The fact his leg only has one place to go is probably why the ref deemed it dangerous. At the...
