I'd say Burge was better than him. He would have some good games mixed in with the bad ones. He has also been in the team of the year in both Leagues 1&2. I can't remember Collins ever having a good game for us.
So pleased I left at 8 to watch that shower of shit. If Collins never plays for us again it will be a day too soon. Doug basically said if we don’t have 26 points by Xmas the pressure increases 3 fold. We’re on 24 points, over to you Douglas.
They were saves any competent keeper should make. Had he let them in we would be complaining. We have just got used to them going in so now it's a novelty for him to make a couple of saves.
He's been here almost a year now, if he hasn't managed to get fit and build stamina by now, i'd say it's unlikely to happen. He is technically good but can only manage 60 minutes a game.
Collins has set the bar so low that an average performance with a couple of standard saves is seen as a good performance from him. His distribution yesterday was poor. Kicked the ball Burgeesqe straight out a couple of times and delayed the restart when the counter attack was on a few times...
It's not a reasonable one with a mid table budget. It means you need to over achieve every year. You might be able to do it occasionally but it's not going to happen year in year out when you are prepared to sell/not rd sign your best players to fund the following season.
Collins gets beaten by shots from distance too often. His starting position for me is too deep. If a player is outside of the box he should be closer to the 6 yard line than the goal line. He doesn't seem to anticipate shots either and his reaction time is poor. He concedes a lot of goals...
Robins probably won't work again this season. Doug will still be paying him so it's going to need a hefty offer to get him working again. The rest will do him good.
