We have seen the level of Wright performance from Simms at least 15 times this season.
He is so poor at striking a ball, that he wasn’t even considered for a penalty so that also ruled him coming on late the other night.
A ton of goals? He scored 13 in 46 of which, 3 were against Rotherham (worst away side in championship history).
You’ve got to be joking with the wins headers part? He wins nothing in the air. Usually mistimes the jump by about a minute and when it’s timed right, weak as piss. As for his link...
Would be best for both parties. We all have different opinions, which is what makes football so good but I genuinely see him being a lower end champ player at best. I have really struggled with him from day one and don’t think he’s improved in the two years he’s been here.
I don’t think it’s a system issue, personally. I’d expect a CF to flourish with the amount of balls we put in the box.
Imo, Wright is better off the left. He looked lost up front last season and bar Sunderland at home, has this season.
Simms is done mate. The fact he got not one minute says it all. Writing is on the wall for him, imo.
I’d say that they probably praised him publicly to try and get a reaction from him, and they’ve got nothing.
His record is pretty shite. I’d much rather we have BTA off the bench and I...
Think they’ve both improved massively throughout the season tbf. But then stats don’t lie, we concede too many goals and so we need to upgrade at least one of them for me. Most prob Kitching.
Why is Simms clearly a good player? What do you think he is good at?
1 in 4 for at this level is not a good return on a striker that cost a significant amount of money. He doesn’t bring people into play either as his hold up play is woeful.
