What benefits does Simms bring then? Because he doesn’t even do that. Can’t head, can’t hold up, can’t link play. But he scored 6 goals against Rotherham and Maidstone.

You may have, but the point still stands. Simms is terrible, BTA not great but better. As a backup, who would you rather come off the bench? It’s good to see FL follows the majority’s way of thinking as the PO’s was a clear indication of where Simms is in the pecking order.

Blackburn at home - second goal to Haji came from BTA pressing. Simms would never. The goal he scored there’s absolute no chance Simms finishes that chance. Swansea away - again no chance he hits the target let alone scores. Bristol City at home - again please watch this and tell me Simms...

To counter this, there are several performances / goals that BTA put in that Simms is not capable of. I genuinely cannot fathom how people can watch Simms and think he’s a good player.
