Moulding a team in His image

Ok, Robins man management of higher profile players is suspect. I asked this the other day, since Robins has been here how many players have we had that have gone on to better careers? Who’s at a higher or same level. Chaplin, O’Hare ( man management if O’Hare last year was awful) Gyokeres and...

Moulding a team in His image

I said this a few weeks ago, he’s great at getting that extra 10% out of players who are limited, but will give you 100% player switch ability turn out to require kid gloves - it’s stupid, but unfortunately that’s the way of the world as you’ve said - creating a siege mentality is his forte...

    Bassette

That’s exactly what we are - but I don’t think it’s isolated to just us. As you’ve said though. We primarily need to win football matches. it’s all well and good developing players to reach their potential. But you need to supplement that with players who know how to win

When can we make a judgement?

I would point to Sunderland aswell. New manager walks into shit show where the players are bought via data and a recruitment team.. Coaching staff allegedly not good enough - they seem to be doing alright with a new manager

When can we make a judgement?

No he won’t. As I’ve said multiple times before - we won’t be getting a “manager” we’ll be getting a head coach whose values align with what we got. He may get to bring a no2 but the staff behind the scenes won’t change

    Robins has to go…

I think he’s bought himself some time with the Blackburn win, there was some fight there but the next few games are horrendous and our home record is appalling this year

    transfer fees illegal

It’s not transfer fees that the ruling is for in isolation. The ruling queries a rule that allows teams to receive a transfer fee if a player is released with just cause. essentially what could happen is players could be cunts to get their contracts terminated and move on a free my take on it...

I was impressed with the forward passes. Some of them didn’t come off but you could see what they were trying to do. Eccles in particular. they moved it a lot quicker aswell

Can’t tell if Blackburn are open or we’re at it. Should definitely be looking at shooting on sight at this goalkeeper

2-1 win, robins to begin his press conference with a statement directed to the doubters on SBT going full on Farage “you all laughed at me… well you’re not laughing now” then dropping the mic, walking off cursing Dr Claire and George Boateng, myself and Nick

For those who were there at the start of it all

“Most managerial changes end in failure” on what length of time? You’re using the sample size of us between 04-11. I’d guess that someone who could galvanise and motivate would continue pushing us forward. Robins appears to not like working in this structure. There are many coaches out there...

For those who were there at the start of it all

Based on what? I’d say we’d benefit from a new manager bounce as is regularly the case. not saying sack the guy - but you have no idea who’d come in and what effect they’d have

For those who were there at the start of it all

Mad that a few weeks before that they turned us over. Once we confirmed the play offs - I was convinced we were going up. it’s why I prefer the Oxford checkatrade game over Exeter - Oxford we felt like underdogs, Exeter for me was routine. Just knew we were going to win
