Hes played his role in an underperforming team very well , nothing more nothing less . He's not Gus and never will be but he is a very competent number 6 that would grace most sides in this division
Saddlebrains has some very valid opinions and can be a solid contributor but currently he comes across very bitter and has an agenda based on a friend he feels has been wronged . Don’t think it is helpful with on and off field problems currently
Wonder if we are still in for Brekalo?
He plays centrally and is a big aggressive unit . Wouldn't mind seeing Kitching or Binks centrally when Fadz is rested
And his confidence has suffered as a result . He did put in one really important challenge last night but I would give him a couple of games with the U-21/23s to regain a bit of confidence and composure
You tell me ? No one knows what goes on behind closed doors but Josh cannot be the only player in the squad capable of taking set pieces surely? You would hope one of the wide players would be better?
Totally agree , we have wide players within our squad surely they can deliver better.
Personally aside from set pieces he has been our most consistent performer
It goes back to a concern some of us have aired , who else is stepping up in training? Eccles cannot be our best option ,agreed . Someone within the group has to grow a pair and take charge , Da Silva , Sakamoto, Van Ewijk?
Again it raises the question of leadership within the squad , who else is actively stepping up in training to take them?
You would hope that either of your wing backs would be able to whip over a decent corner
Comparing players is largely irrelevant. What is clear with Vik is he had a huge desire to improve himself and according to reports worked incredibly hard to achieve that. Not saying Simms and Wright shouldn't be looking to do the same but each individual is different
