    Carabao Cup Final

The mackems will be devastated, I spoke to some yesterday who were more concerned with how Newcastle did today than Sunderland did yesterday. Strange!

It's no excuse but I suspect Wilder would be like that in a similar situation

It would be nice for a manager/coach to take a stance like Clough did at Forest, maybe FL should take the lead. Yes players can challenge decisions but there is a proper way to do it & certainly no need for abusive language.

    Jamie allen

He quoted that Eccles hadn't got above 7 since FL was appointed missing out all games where FL was here from November until the 4th January, 1 of which was the 4-0 win against Plymouth where Eccles scored 2. Cynically I would suggest that Eccles probably got a 7 for that so it doesn't fit his...

    Referee

Whilst I agree that professional refs should do their jobs properly there is no excuse for how players, parents and coaches treat referees at grass root level. The example needs setting at professional level by coaches/managers & players. Yes I swear in day to day life but the way professional...

Because it filters down, they see players in PL & EFL get away with it so do it themselves.

    Best performance of the season

Where were you flying from & to? There were 8 of us at Birmingham, my son & I flying to Edinburgh, @EalingSB flying to Geneva, 4 flying to Dublin & 1 flying to Bangkok I think who missed the game as he thought he would miss his flight.

    Referee

I thought it should be a red but wasn't sure. Surely the FA/EFL should be looking at things as clear as that. Just because it is a derby & they can be very volatile is no excuse & is poor officiating which as you say doesn't help referees lower down the pyramid 😡

    Referee

Just watching a bit of Sheffield derby & ball goes out for a throw-in, Sheff Utd player thinks it's for them and goes to take it but referee gives it to Sheff Wed so player says "You're fucking shit, how is that for them?" & then referee blows for half time and same player walks past referee...

    Sunderland player ratings

He finds himself on the floor a lot when Sunderland concede, he is a poor defender for me but the mackems love him so let's hope they keep picking him. My favourite fuck up by him was last year at SOL when he fouled COH or Haji as we broke and ended on the floor on the half way line as we scored 🤣

Video Coventry City v Sunderland Highlights

Gurney was also saying it was crazy he isn't in the US squad. I haven't seen their squad and don't know if or when it was selected but why would they pick a player who has been out for 4 months & until yesterday had done very little in the couple of games. Gurney really is an idiot.

    Sakamoto

I think some of us were worried earlier in the season that he might struggle to be as good as he was and when EMC & Haji were back that it would be Tats who made way. He has been excellent in the last few games, even at Derby he was 1 of a couple who played ok, and it is hard to see anyone else...

It's also funny watching that dick O'Nien trying to challenge Haji and then block it and ending up on the floor 🤣

That game was conveniently left out of the list of games since FL has been here.

    I think he's injured his injury 🤔

    Midfield 3

Yes, Allen has to start at Sheff Utd as does the rest of the starting 11. Allen gives the team energy & movement and it seemed to push Tats & MVE yesterday and the 3 of them never gave Sunderland any time or space, Torp & Grimes were the same. Even EMC & JDS were better harrying & defensively...

    Supporters forum - 13 March

We were in 29 in row XX but weren't going to renew as I cannot get to midweek games but then my son wanted his 1st ST. I wanted to be on the side but not as high up and the only ones available were in 23. I like where we sit, the only downside is the jack in the box along the row.

The club should have some rows in 1 block specifically for fans who need to regularly go to the concourse during a game. We have a woman on our row in block 23 who goes out at least twice per half, it's a real pain for the rest of us 😡
