Still got the programme somewhere. Was it around 2006?

If you could have one new thing at the Ricoh

I buy Harry's Scrummage Medium and Whin Hill Perry. Both still (can't stand it fizzy), and both real; produced from their own fruit (definitely no concentrates). Trust me ;)

If you could have one new thing at the Ricoh

It's pretty horrible. I'll stick with the stuff I buy direct in 20L and 10L BiBs from Devon (cider) and Norfolk (perry).

If you could have one new thing at the Ricoh

Oh, and boat trips to and from the Greyhound.

If you could have one new thing at the Ricoh

Yes, yes, yes. Flood the place with Dhillon's stuff. Some proper cider would be even better, but unfortunately that's not going to happen. (Thatcher's shite, even though far better than the Strongbow/Magners ilk is still shite).

    Recommend a beer

Got a tall and quite fancy St Peter's glass somewhere, from a pack of theirs I bought many years ago. I have no clue if I liked the beer or not!

    Recommend a beer

An advert for this popped up on my FB feed just now, and brought back some memories. We camped at Rochefort (Ardennes Forest) back in about 1990 or so, and the on-site bar was rammed with this stuff and loads of others. Bro in Law and I could barely stand for about three days. Gonna have to get...

    Directors box

Really not a problem. I personally know several people at Cov RFC who would not really be considered 'essential' to the running of matchday, but who are permitted to travel to matches (two are photographers for the club, one a bbc commentator, one a 'fifth official/sub linesman'). As long as you...

    Wasps downward spiral...

And, once again, 15 man Wasps fuck up against a 14 man bottom of table side. Forum Quote: I’m disgusted. Lost at home to bottom of the league with an extra man for an hour. I’m done with this shambles. Oh dear, how sad. Again.

Which classic car would you have?

My least favourite Cortina. I had a MK2 1600E in Aubergine in about '73. That was lovely.

Which classic car would you have?

Wonderful old barge. Mate of mine bought one to learn in and asked me to pick it up for him. I'd only just passed my test in a 100E Pop (all I'd ever driven) and promptly ran over the kerb on the first two corners. It felt effin' huge!

Waggle Dance has always been pish. The Thornbridge one, however. Well, you probably know my Thornbridge bias by now ;)

Always loved Gary. Saw him supporting BB King at Brum on the latter's European Farewell Tour. Fabulous.

Which classic car would you have?

1965 for me. Just in an effort to save my granddad's life. You never know.

Which classic car would you have?

They're cracking. And the fact that they cosset old crumbling twats like us is just a bonus. When they make one that warns me I'm about to piss my pants, I'll probably buy one.

Which classic car would you have?

Something needs to. Remember the old saying? 'Volvo. The last refuge of the incompetent'. There used to be some truth in that ;)

Which classic car would you have?

Always loved the Beta HPE myself. But then, a week after the first frost of winter it became a brown stain on the tarmac. Never knew a car rot away quicker. Great shame.
