Thats not how medicals work, it's not about being fit. Its about the risk of injury across the length of a contract - if he has a degenerative hip condition, then a team isn't likely to offer him a multi year contract for fear of him not playing through the tail of it. Its a risk management...

I'm not sure I'm prepared for us to spend 7 million on a player. I've become so used to no ambition and limited spending. What are we meant to do? How do we act? How do we judge them?
