    Scumberland or Shitefield ?

............................well this doesn't look too promising

    Scumberland or Shitefield ?

This is along the lines of what I was going to say. We lost to Luton on a penalty shootout lottery, Man Utd a marginal VAR decision, even against Sunderland the winner hit the bar on another day could have gone the other way. The tiniest of margins on the big stage, and it's quite cruel...

    Scumberland or Shitefield ?

Maybe just me, but it looks more like O'Hare is having some sort of severe allergic reaction, then he's crying...

    Scumberland or Shitefield ?

This is an......interesting reaction to another team getting promoted.

    Scumberland or Shitefield ?

The Sunderland owner looks like he could be a Bond villain. "No, Mr Wilder, I expect you to lose"

    Scumberland or Shitefield ?

"The other end? Which one are you talking about? Luton had three goals disallowed in that game; Osho from a corner - disallowed, onfield for offiside Adebayo - disallowed, onfield for handball Taylor - disallowed, VAR for handball

    Scumberland or Shitefield ?

They did, but the goal was disallowed as an on-field decision, I'm fairly certain.

    Scumberland or Shitefield ?

Proper head in hands moment, wasn't it? I just before posting had to have a little think as to whether it was called handball on-field, but I don't think it was.

    Scumberland or Shitefield ?

In fairness, VAR has only intervened in our favour once, and that was from an objective handling of the ball in the direct lead up to a goal missed by the on-field refereeing team (Taylor's disallowed goal late in the playoff final) Other uses of VAR were to verify on-field decisions, and one...

    Evening form

It was 2-1 away at Notts County in the league a few weeks prior to the playoffs. Ponticelli equalised with about five minutes to go but they scored the winner pretty much from kickoff

Match Thread Coventry v Sunderland Championship Playoff 1st Leg Friday 9th May

Not long back. Firstly, I have to say, the atmosphere at times was bouncing, really positive and felt like we could go on and win. Unfortunately, Sunderland played a blinder away performance, sat back deep and defended well, especially Dan Ballard, I thought. So deflating to lose to a completely...

    He's Magic You Know

I absolutely loved when he came out sweeping up for the ball through to Conway shortly after Bidwell made a lax pass leading to a counter. His starting position and anticipation was first class, and then his clearance led to the chance where BTA hits the post. Wilson was simply superb yesterday.

    Ref again

When he did, he seemed to wave it on very quickly. Just seems to show confidence in decision making, and less reactive to crowds and external factors, which is important as I thought Hackney seemed to try to referee the game like Brownhill did for Burnley.
