Bleddy frogs are doing all sorts of despicable things in my pond at the moment. Counted sixteen of them tonight (edit: not including the plastic one my grandson put there 🤣). Spawn everywhere. Dirty buggers 😉

Bet it still leaves a bitter taste and an underlying current of mistrust though. There was no way I was going to subject my buyer to that. I owed them absolutely nothing, but morally it just didn't sit right with me. Hope it all pans out for you.

Well, it's been a long old haul, but we finally completed today. Mixed emotions as we'd owned that house since I was three (1956), but hey, money in the bank, and mum's much safer and warmer, and loves it, in her new place, and it's much easier for us to get there too. All round, happy days.

They are grown on a rootstock, and this can vary in height. The one I had was probably about the same height as the one in the picture and a similar 'ball on a stick' as it were. Next door had one too, but that was on a very low stock and was in effect a low-growing shrub. You might need to shop...

I had to do a similar job about six and a half years ago, although fortunately the patio was reasonable enough to keep, and the rest was grass. Not a single shrub or plant. We'd downsized the house, and the garden, which was 160ft long before, so I brough quite a bit of stuff with me in troughs...

They could have Cov for less than half that 😉

PS. They used to do the Hakuro Nishiki at Hilltop Garden Centre (Shilton way), but haven't been there for a year or two, so not sure if they still do. Fairly widely available though, I think.

Sad to learn of the passing of All Black and NZ RL international Inga Tuigamala. A truly great player in both codes, and a lovely guy too. I remember him playing for Newcastle against Cov in the 1990s. Far too young.

Pretty much the same as virtually every other club below the cabal. Nope! It would assuredly kill any further ground development at the BPA too unless the club were to be selected as one of the favoured few and funded similarly to the Prem reserve squads. Can't see that though.
