Yep. His finishing improved as his confidence grew but he was never the most natural finisher. I don’t know if it’s just a nostalgic thing for me, but I don’t see complete technical finishers anymore like Van Persie, Henry or Eduardo…but I guess in the same way you don’t often anymore see...

Feels less of a pressing issue given the change in system and recent form of Rudoni, Torp and Allen. But Allen isn’t long term, same with Sheaf. Any injury to any of the above and suddenly we have no means of changing it up. Glad we finally have an addition there.

Stats for seasons gone by suggest he's quite a progressive passer. Could it be perhaps that this season he just hasn't had much of offer ahead of him? Not that I see him as someone who should carry the playmaker title anyway, playmaker for me is more like Hamer, Torp...the higher risk players.
