I for one Never ever doubted Simms...he's proven goal scored in this league albeit half a season. He will be a great striker imo. And great value considering his pedigree/age/potential to develop.

We have improved as a squad. But we still need that standout player or players. That can literally dictate a game and take by scruff of the neck and be that player. No one near Hamer/Gyokores level yet. Not sure we could buy that.

We may struggle to keep these 2 in the Summer....that's how good they are imo.

Impressive was how Thomas read the game...charged forward (thinking no one else is up there). He wanted it more than anyone that header was his could see him anticipating that cross as the ball went wide to Simms then Saka. He's been unfortunate Thomas too as he could have had more goals too...
