What do you consider the proper process for claiming asylum? Or do you just think we should take zero asylum seekers?

The numbers won't go up as when the first person over makes their asylum application they make it for all family members so the asylum figures are for the total number of applicants including family not currently in the county. So the latest years figures are 85,112 applications covering 109,343...

think we may well have just got away with one there. Would be a very bizarre way to get out but there seems to be a second spike after the ball has hit the ground. Got to trust the experts on this one and you can't conclusively say it was out. Going to go off here aren't they and need 35 in...

Can’t find those stats, only think I can find is something from the commons library saying 29% of asylum seekers arrive by small boats. The small boats thing is entirely a problem of our own making. There’s a reason the use of that route to entry was virtually non existent prior to 2018.

Except those figures aren’t from years ago. They’re the figures from the home office for 2024, not really possible to have the figures for 2025 seeing as the year hasn’t finished.

No I believe that single males are top of the list for hotel accommodation. Didn’t think it was a particularly complex concept. If you’re going to just deny the governments figures for asylum claims it’s going to be near impossible to have a serious discussion on how to resolve any issues with...

This isn’t a bad shout. Maybe they could find a way to do something affordable for JSBs. I’m an ice hockey fan and my NHL team sell off pretty much everything. Match pucks, jerseys, training kit, and all sorts of signed memorabilia. Some of it does for big money. For the more in demand stuff...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

It’s mostly single males in hotels because despite some people believing they’re having a great time living in 5* hotels spending their time having spa days the home office consider hotel’s accommodation of last resort. As it’s considered the worst option women and children are prioritised for...

There's very little incentive for the French to do anything now we've left the EU and the Dublin Procedure no longer applies. This is an area that seems to get no focus. The system was allowed to go to shit while at the same time handing huge sums of money over to certain individuals to...

    Are you happy

Fingers crossed it clears up for you. Unfortunately they don't seem to have much answer for things they're seeing in people post-covid and most of the planet seems to have forgotten covid was ever a thing. World has moved on and there doesn't seem to be much interest or urgency in...

    New stadium

Quite funny how it now seems to have become a thing that if we manage to get promoted we'll immediately be looking to add another tier on the CBS or move to a bigger ground. More realistically you'd be looking at several years of every game being sold out before that's even a thought.
