    Wilfred Bony?

Strange that he hasn't gone to China or wherever, isn't that what all slightly washed up but yet to retire footballers do now? Surely he'd get a contract in one of those leagues just by virtue of having once played for Man City....

    No More Transfers?

I think Robins was being deliberately obtuse in the interview. He alluded to having spent the budget and not bringing anyone else in but then in almost the same breath said that he would love to do more business and 2 players may be leaving the club which would free up funds. I believe he also...

    Free Agents

Can't remember a previous season where there were still so many "big name" free agents available after transfer deadline day has passed. Fernando Llorente, Daniel Sturridge, Mario Balotelli, Wilfried Bony, Saido Berahino, Franck Ribery, Hatem Ben Arfa, Bakary Sako, and Danny Simpson all without...

    Pre Match Conference - Bolton

Read a transcript of this on Facebook and Robins said he expected a couple of players to leave which would free up additional funds

I still think he's injured. Hasn't really played yet clearly not in Wolves first team plans either. Can't see any reason for him not to have made his move already unless he's crocked.

Where will we finish if the squad stays the same as it is now pretty much

Whatever happened to just watching the team, enjoying the match and seeing where we end up at the end of the season? Betting culture has made us all obsessed with predicting the outcome to the point where we are all depressed before a ball has even been kicked. My optimism for the coming season...

    Tyler Walker deal done???

It is what it is. All of our players are for sale at any time, if someone came in and offered proper money for our entire first team squad today they'd all be gone by tomorrow. It's not great but that is the reality and we just have to deal with it as best we can.

If he has picked up an injury I can understand wolves not wanting to shout about that too much, if they are indeed trying to offload him.

    Tyler Walker deal done???

We might not have improved the overall quality but we have replaced key loan players with permanent signings and thus far kept hold of prospects like Bayliss. I don't think that's bad going given our predicament

Didn't he play a substantial number of games for Wolves in the Championship? Why are we now suddenly of the opinion he wouldn't get game time with a champ team? It's time to let this go, would have been nice to have him but I've no doubt Robins will have other ideas.

    Transfer Rumour Bids for Chaplin

    Transfer Rumour Bids for Chaplin

Little point in arguing about whether it's good business or not. As a club we haven't been in a position to turn down (reasonable) bids for any of our players for a long time. As soon as Barnsley made it clear they wanted him he was always going to go. It's frustrating but that's the reality

    Transfer Rumour Bids for Chaplin

Just a thought, but do Barnsley have anyone we might be interested in? Just putting 2&2 together given Robins comments around not selling Chaplin unless a replacement was lined up.

    Bolton away

Apart from Salford, yes. FC United apparently struggling

    Bolton away

My best mate is a Geordie and was having exactly the same argument with him. He couldn't see that in the grand scheme of things they are still doing pretty well, any number of clubs would kill to be in their position.

Saturday's Game - Behind closed doors

It will be just a workout. Probably a Premier league side wanting to give their players a physical test against lower league opposition.

    So where are they now?

In fairness he looked alright when he first arrived, just faded badly. Incidentally, Hussey is also at Cheltenham.

    Jordan Willis

It't not just the parachute payments, relegated teams get a 1 season grace period before they have to comply with the FFP rules for the division so last year Sunderland didn't have to comply with the wages cap (x% of turnover) but this season they will.

    So where are they now?

Clarke was amazing by comparison to Horrordale. How we ever recouped a fee for him I shall never know.

    Addai

Weird that Addai retweeted it but hasn't tweeted anything about going out on loan?
