A player will always have an agent and in some cases the arm round the shoulder, the investor, the personal manager etc so it isn’t always the player, taking into consideration the agent gets a cut of that monthly/ weekly wage “ffs” 🤷🏻‍♂️

Don’t forget those 5/6 players need paying, so it isn’t just a matter of putting all the money back in. Need to consider FFP rules whilst ensuring we are not breaking our own bank on wages. Would imagine if we were to be able to reinvest all the transfer funds if Gus was to go, the figure on...

Totally agree, let’s not forget, it won’t be the club not trying and Gus himself will not be holding the club to ransom but his agent will be on overtime and pushing like mad for more money, whether this is with us or another club.

Absolutely correct. We know it is highly likely his agent will be pushing like mad for massive wages, so do we cash in + player??? It is disappointing to see such a player leave but we have to trust that we would have someone lined up to replace him.

Why were Joy Seppala and Tim Fisher in the royal box for club officials at Wembley?

Ok, I have no problem with anyone who disagrees or has other facts.

Why were Joy Seppala and Tim Fisher in the royal box for club officials at Wembley?

Those are them… DK needs substantial amount to pay Sisu off, he needs to sell Vik for this and maybe Gus (hopefully not). DB is out of the way as he was not happy. Controlling CEO with no capital. Another well known loyal funder/supporter of the club has also been shut out.

Why were Joy Seppala and Tim Fisher in the royal box for club officials at Wembley?

Because DK has sold himself as the messiah but not given you all of the facts

Why were Joy Seppala and Tim Fisher in the royal box for club officials at Wembley?

Let’s just face it, the reason for them still being in the background is because until DK pays them a significant sum of money, we are in theory still owned by SISU. The stalemate on Vik’s transfer is down to DK needing more so he can pay them off.

What? When they owe £20m which has to be paid and in debt up to their 👀’s … no

    Sky Blue Talk - Negative

I suspect DK wants the more hands on approach and can see DB I think the loss of DB is not good for the club!

    Sky Blue Talk - Negative

He wouldn’t want it that way as his next target will be to land a similar job! DB will keep things as professional as possible rather than make a scene.

    Transfer Rumour Ellis Simms

That is absolutely ludicrous for a championship club to pay. Don’t care what season tickets they have sold and the gates they will get week in week out, this is that silly Ashton going barmy again…

    Championship thread 23/24

They are now owned by a US pension fund. The CEO Mark Ashton is a lunatic with money “just ask Bristol City fans” but they have a great manager! I find it hard to believe how clubs like these can pay sums of money and incredible wages to match such signings without risking the balance of the...

CBS - 5 Year Deal Agreed

That indicates to me that maybe the Fraser group would like to be more involved in the future? Why 5 years?? Dust settles, they see the progress and the income and make their move.

    Sheaf New Contract

We have never been strong in the transfer market (selling) but what I will say is that Chris Wood went to Newcastle not long back for £25m!!!! We could fetch £30m but it does depend on our board standing up to these clubs.
