    Portsmouth- what on earth

If a club the size of Rangers can go out of business and be relegated several divisions etc then why do people think that it won't happen here? Oh yeah Hoff will save us, no worries.

    Portsmouth- what on earth

He now has 28 days to make good on the proposal, and start the process of bringing Pompey out of administration. But the decision does not mean the end of the line for the Pompey Supporters' Trust, who had submitted a rival offer. If Chainrai takes Portsmouth over, the PST can do a deal with him...

We will be on stage - washboard, teacrate bass and spoons!!!! Actually we will have a stand at the festival allowing people to ask us what the Trust is about etc - there will be football games and lots of prizes. All welcome so come along and see what the Trust is aiming to do and how you can be...

    SBT meeting

All invited - please come along. Embargo may be lifted but there are plenty of warnings signs still out there about the future of our club.

Dont worry, no transfers have gone through yet

Ash - I am 100% in agreement with you and am personally convinced that when the deal falls through for the 50% of ACL (wish bloody CT would stop talking about selling the stadium as its not what the deal is about) the SISU wil simply fold the club having flogged off any saleable assets - ie the...

Dont worry, no transfers have gone through yet

Ash - the due diligence is just a smoke screen because it is perfectly clear that the even if Higgs Charity and SISU do strike a deal the Council will veto it because they know SISU cannot be trusted nor are in any way in it for the good of the arena and the development of north Coventry. The...

What was the last CCFC news statement that made you go YEEEAH!

Ashamed to say it was the day it was announced we'd signed Eastwood - I honestly thought he would bring something special to the club. Just proves how wrong you can be. Mind you I did also cheer when I heard that we'd been rescued by some outfit called SISU................. Crawls away with...

    Another one being chased

No one is saying they are rubbish - what is being said is that they are too young. Do you honestly think Newcastle will be shoving Bigi into the first team and expecting 20 games out of him? No they will put him in the development squad and do exactly that - develop him, allow him to learn and...

im not one to start rumours but here goes..............

So thats WG Grace on the wing, Jack Russell in goal Rohan Khanai in centre mid and Ian Botham up front (assuming Scunny don't object)

    Realistically?

Can people please forget any ideas about promotion - next season (if there is a next season for us) will simply be about survival in this division. Understand SISU don't care what division we are in as long as they do not have to prop the club up in any financial way, if that means another...

Thorn: Players believe they will bounce back

When are some people going to wake up and smell the coffee? We have the worst squad I can ever remember in my 45 years of following this club - the senior pros we have left are only here because no one else would want them - when a completely one dimensional journeyman like Platt jumps ship...

A (soon to be) Ex-Football club?

If we take the squad of last season then we have lost Turner and Juke during the season and the two loanees Norwood and Nimbley have returned to their parent clubs. Clingan, Platt, Eastwood and Ireland have left and Keogh, Cranie, McPake and ROD are likely to leave and possibly Bigi too. Oh and...

    Playing staff

My opinion is no - Dulieu was so arrogant that he wouldn't stoop to talk to someone like Thorn - it was purely a financial decision. Where AT is culpable is jumping up and down with glee like a little girl saying what a great deal it is for the club etc. If he had a backbone he would have just...

    Playing staff

Bell and Baker were purely given contracts by that idiot Dulieu so they had a book value - although our financial experts on here dispute that - nothing to do with their ability or rather lack of it or worth to the team. Signing players on long term is ok if they are the right players but of...

    Harrison gone?

Wouldn't surprise me if Oggy wasn't next on the hit list - SISU will be soon asking if a third div team with no money need a specialist keeping coach. Doubt if his legend status with the fans will cut any ice with Joy(less)

Waggott: We have missed our first target

The threat from Joy(less) is not keeping us under an embargo but actually shutting the club all together and leaving the City without a team, the Ricoh without an anchor tenant and ACL(the council/Higgs charity) with a huge hole in its revenue. The council realises the value of the team to the...

    Harrison gone?

Hopefully he's done his party piece again and invited SISU out for a drink

    CWR interview and books submission

The stones that Waggott and Thorn were looking under for players have been squeezed for every last drop of blood - but that is reserved for Joy Seppala - she is in fact 378 years old and why do you think she's never seen in daylight?

    CWR interview and books submission

Not possible BSB - computers and printers have been sent down to Cash Converters and due to cut backs accounts are being scribed in a hardback ledger with quill and ink. Club doesn't know anyone with a photocopier................not even Ricoh!!!

    i need some hope.

As things stand 1 free transfer is asking too much. I see next seasons games having to be stopped for 5 mins in first half so our kids can have a drink of milk or Um Bongo and then for 15 mins in second half so they can have an afternoon nap with their blankies and teddies.
