The problem we might well have with Haji this summer is hanging onto him. All this blame game stuff will not help in the slightest and he'll be very expensive to replace.

We just don't have the money for big changes and even if we did we don't want to sacrifice the season to rebuilding again.

I'm not anit-Lampard in the slightest. I thought Robins should go after the Leeds game, in fact. but that's not the point. I think the issue is the slow and predictable buildup play. Teams know how to play us now and just park the bus, which gives our strikers little chance. Give us a high...

Let's face it Lampard and his team haven't got the best out of any of our strikers. I know Haji came back from a bad injury and none of us knows the full impact of that but there does seem to be an issue here. I think the Jury is still out on Frank in this area. We certainly can't keep throwing...

    30,000 Crowds !

What scope is there to add capacity and some stage in the future - ignoring the politics and ownership issues? It's penned in by the road and rail but another 10k seats might be doable...

Let me be the first to say that Sunderland

Never mind that they lost on the day - that is why they were relegated. The Chin and the Club were also cleared by an FA investigation, but the morons don't let facts get in the way of fake rivalry

    Callum O'Hare

I thought he looked very pale yesterday for someone who has been outside training every day in the sunshine. Something's not right there...

Anyone would think the opposition has no defence reading some of this! Our strikers just queue up to score and if they miss they're shit. I don't remember anyone said that Vik was shit when McNair kept him quiet in '23. I do remember a lot of people calling Godden shit - be careful what you wish...

There is a difference playing on the left with a back 4 rather than a 3/5. He clearly isn't a left winger to my eye and pushing him out there to accommodate an out-of-form Simmo just has not worked for him. Obviously we wouldn't have been playing this way if Ephron was fit. Wright is easily...

Ellis Simms playoffs reason not played

It's like dropping down a division, it's that bit easier when you've lost a yard or your touch isn't reliable. Players can still be highly effective but more hit and miss against the better sides.

Ellis Simms playoffs reason not played

He did score a lot of his goals against weaker opposition where he had more time and space, the FA Cup games, Rotherham in the league... I know he scored against some very good teams too but it all needs to be considered together.

Ellis Simms playoffs reason not played

Crikey maybe it just felt like it! Still 46 apps and 7 goals. 26 goals in 99 games across the two season, 1 in 4 (and worse in the league) is a poor return for a CF by any standards, especially when he's not getting the assists either. He'd do better with a move for his own good at this point...

Ellis Simms playoffs reason not played

He's started almost every game this season, I think. Missed a couple with a foot injury, the two playoff games, little else

    Callum Doyle

And after we've spent probably two record fees replacing them there'd be nothing left.

Ellis Simms playoffs reason not played

He didn't play because his season has been hugely disappointing, unfortunately!

Our fans chase everyone out in the end. It always has to be somebody's fault. We never know what's really going on! Haji Wright has the same number of goals for the Club as Darren Huckerby and David Speedie. An injury free season would probably have seen him up near Gyokeres. A bit more level...

I don't know. Mason-Clark and Torp were big misses and Thomas was out too. I think Torp would have given that bit more vision over Sheaf in the playoff games certainly.

    Ellis simms

Haji 19 goals season one, 12 goals in half a season this year. 31 goals in total - are you mad?

Such a shame it was all decided by that back pass in the 1st leg. I expect that a good number of players will move on and we'll be rebuilding again in August.
