We’ve been without our best player the whole time he’s been in charge and then our best player under FL got injured. Going through the team yesterday, the whole starting 11 had scored 10 goals between them. You’d already made your mind up on Lampard so you will just plough through the basic...

Yes, but there’s obvious gaps in the team whether or not the coaches are elite or not. Without Haji or EMC in the team, you’d be mad not to give the benefit of the doubt because before EMC got injured, we looked a better team under FL than MR.

Our two top goal scorers are injured too in a team that misses lots of big chances and struggles to score. Over the Xmas and New Year period, we scored 7 goals which looks good but we loaded 4 of those goals v Plymouth. Lampard needs a transfer window or two to address the clear weaknesses we...

Let’s just keep everything the same is your response to a lot of issues brought up on here. Are you sure you’re not a Tory ‘wet?’

Why don’t you start a petition among Labour voters to oust Keir Starmer? Perhaps a silly ‘meme’ suggestion on a football forum can snowball into the downfall of a Labour PM by membership vote! 😂 Heck, I’ll rejoin the Labour Party to sign the petition!

If Starmer’s polling got worse over the next few years, you don’t think anyone would challenge him at all? 😂 I like your optimism.

He’s another on an expiring contract so on principle, I’d cash in. There is a risk we’re cannibalising the CMs if we let him and potentially Sheaf go in one window. If there’s a lot of funds being made available and a plan to recruit replacements, fantastic!

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

An election truly is a non-starter. The membership probably would vote him out if there was a viable left wing candidate waiting in the wings. As you say, we’ve still got 4 years left so plenty of time for Starmer to become even more unpopular. I’m not saying Starmer is going to imminently...

The sooner we get those two in the line up and some big signings, It needs to be back to basics for Lampard. Back to 4-2-3-1 with solid back 4, perhaps Allen in midfield again ready to re-integrate Wright and EMC in the team. He needs to stick with one striker and that has to be Simms. At...

No, Parliamentary Labour Party which is shorthand for Labour MPs.

In isolation, you’re actually correct. However, how often does any sitting PMs approval recover from their peak after 1 year in office? It’s his personal popularity that should worry the PLP. On the Corbyn point, he was challenged for the leadership and the membership re-elected him. The PLP...

His popularity polling is pretty disastrous and it probably isn’t recoverable. If there’s no movement this year or next, there’ll be conversations. Then again, the PLP have never kicked out a sitting Labour PM before.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

The electorate must be having some serious buyer’s remorse because things seem to somehow be getting slightly worse. It’s setback after setback for Keir Starmer and his top team, it’s snowballing. There was a pollster that reckons that of Reform gets a swing of 6%, they’d be the largest party...

    Transfer Rumour Godden

Personally, I could see a scenario where Robins may have felt threatened to hire a hot shot number 2. Why he’d feel insecure I’m not so sure. Lampard will do well in the long term. In the grand scheme of things, it takes months to get a team fully ready to play your tactical way and he’s still...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I wonder if Labour MPs will move to oust Keir Starmer before the next election. It’s unbelievable that some polls having them losing their supermajority already and with government refusing to rule out more tax rises, they’re going to become more unpopular. Just anecdotal, I went to the panto...

He didn’t look disinterested, that’s a trope. We weren’t having much possession and nor generating any chances. He’s not a player who’s going to chase shadows all day like Bassette and BTA did. His whole career before joining us, he was a 1 in 3 striker. At Cov, he scores every 195m, he’s...

Both midfielders collapsed past the CBs where Kitching was closest to the balls. What do you mean by the Sheaf critiques? He wasn’t on the pitch if you meant him directly.

He’s good enough to be a sub striker which was his intended purpose. As was Bassette. Just start Simms for 10 games consecutively and see what he can do. It’s a travesty he hasn’t started consecutive games since September and he scored 19 goals last season!

Clearly not when he was top scorer for a team who made the playoffs last season.
