I didn’t forget the back passes, you must have missed that bit! Outlawing the back pass and awarding 3 points for a win were the most significant and positive law/rule changes most of us will have seen in our lifetimes.

    We can agree on that.

I’m guessing you’re the one shouting “forward” at every opportunity? If you took off your rose-tinted glasses, you’ld see that the standard of football and technical ability are now light years ahead of your good old days. Added to that, I’m sure you would also remember the dreadful pitches, the...

The “good old days” of rigid formations and dull, unimaginative football. Thank goodness we’ve moved on.

Right who's the next manager then?

Robins was definitely announced mid afternoon on the Sunday, I can’t remember when Slade was sacked (possibly on the Sunday morning?). It was the first good news we had had all season.

He was playing the same position as he did in the first half, LCB in a back 3. Rudoni for Kitching was a straight swap, no change in shape.

Apologies, that one passed me by! Assumed Yearn was an autocorrect from Andrews..

Coventry City U21s v Birmingham City tonight

Assuming you mean Andrews, he played (and scored) for Wales U19 in Italy over the weekend so presumably not injured.

So did EMC, that was the first time I’ve seen him work back properly. I think he’s had the facts of life explained to him about the expectations of the effort needed in the championship compared with League 1. If he continues like he did on Tuesday he will be a great asset for us.

Which it clearly was, despite what we expected from the team sheet. I can’t see how anyone could see that as playing with wingbacks. Milan was on the right of the attacking 3 and Lati was clearly RB. It was still the same formation when Lati went off, with Milan switching to RB and EMC replacing...

    Haji crowd accident?

If you are paying attention you can get out of the way (unless he’s blasted it at point blank range at someone in the first few rows).

She also needs to pay attention to the game.

For how many do you really think that will be a consideration? I would suggest a minuscule number, so it’s a realistic rather than ignorant view.

How many City supporters do you think will prioritise an England women’s game over City v Tottenham in a cup game? Of all the excuses I’ve heard for a lower than expected attendance this one is way out on top. Ffs.

    Spion Kop

I remember as a teenager watching the Derby FA cup game in 1974 from the very top of the crows nest, it was absolutely rammed (41k+ in the ground). It was the first ever game City played on a Sunday, early kick off because of the ongoing power cuts.
