Match Thread Coventry City - Sheffield Wednesday [FA] Match Thread - Saturday 11th Jan

I think there is an intrinsic fear of a relegation battle. IF that proved to be the case, would you really want a cup final appearance to be dominant in the players minds?

I’m sorry, lifetime habits die hard. That being the case, why does HMRC take thousands off me every year? @shmmeee tells me it’s collectivism. You seem to plough a lonely furrow implying it’s unnecessary. You have my support to be the next Chancellor of the Exchequer.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c23v3gg09m9o I really hope this works, perhaps proceeds could be used to offset accommodation costs and reduce the burden on the UK taxpayer. I bet the Chinese are quaking in their little boots, bless them.

Match Thread Coventry City - Sheffield Wednesday [FA] Match Thread - Saturday 11th Jan

TBH I really don’t want any cup progress this year, but then I equally didn’t last season either. Knocked out by a blatantly offside goal involving a deliberate handball by the scorer would do me, so we can retain an iota of pride and feel hard done by at the same time. sorry ☹️

I think we have seen one or two of those this season.

It’s no wonder nightlife is dead, it’s so fucking expensive and will only get worse with the employers NI and minimum wage increase. Looking back, even Labour MPs dont understand the cumulative consequences of the government’s decisions as they “went wild” at the reduction in taxes on beer sold...

How difficult would it have been to have said “we have no intention to review the list etc”. Of course, that would have given absolute clarity of purpose which they seem to want to avoid at all costs. That Ming vase seems to be worrying them still.

Presumably WFH doesn’t help with feelings of isolation either. used to have so much fun at work when I was younger, all those centuries ago. Majority of social life built around it. I’m sure I read somewhere recently that “younger” generations would rather communicate by text or email than...

It’s based on the last 6 months experience as I see it. You will see it differently. I am making a huge assumption here that you are significantly younger than I am. Having contributed by taxation to a collectivist approach, when such things are withdrawn as you approach, or even pass...

There seem to be no current plans for much really, There were no current plans to stop the WFA. Until there were. Just can’t be trusted.

Whose £22bn is that? This lots or the last lots. Isn‘t the issue that Starmer is refusing to rule it out? I think you are right about the PDF. Why aren’t these things removed when no longer current, or at least clearly dated so that idiots like me don’t make mistake what’s going on.

I had done, and tbh that had been one of my assumptions. As far as I know, you can still be found to have been libellous even if your statement was essentially true. Surely actually making an admission, even under duress, that the claimed libellous statement was false would enhance the chances...
