Could have escaped with a yellow but really he can't complain, absolutely no need to tackle like that. Lunging, over the top of the ball is dangerous.

Nah, just Robins' mate watching YouTube vids isn't it?

Superb 2nd half, never gave them a sniff. Walloped both lots of plastic Geordies in their own back yards.

5 dives now? This is the problem when you don't punish the first, enables everyone else to try it.

Well.... Tbf, ref is lenient both ways. Binks fortunate not to be booked for sure.

He's really ungainly & unorthodox Simms but he offers far more than Godden.

Pace of Jones getting behind our high line is a real threat. Also the one where Sheaf committed to a challenge right on the edge of their box & Rogers countered. If anyone ever queries why we don't constantly press high against good teams that was your answer!

Can understand the first but the challenges got progressively worse, the 3rd could easily have been a yellow alone never mind any totting up.

Twice now. Also unsure how Greenwood hasn't been booked yet, taken van Ewijk out late on 3 separate occasions now. We look decent at times but also hanging on a bit. Great entertainment mind.

    Simms

It was physically impossible to be offside, even if he went past the last defender he was never ahead of the ball at any time. He did exactly the right thing, the angle of the header made it entirely possible it might bounce back off the inside of the post & he'd then be rightly lambasted for...

    Swansea goal

As clearly shown by your images though, Lowe is already well on his way down before the point there could ever be any contact & Sheaf has pulled out of the challenge. Not blaming the ref, from his position directly behind it almost, it will probably have looked like a foul. It's cheating but in...

    Swansea goal

A little but Collins has intentionally set his wall like that. He wants a gap so that he can have a clear sight of the ball, the problem is he's too far over giving himself far too much to do.

    Swansea goal

It's appalling. It's literally impossible to get the ball over the wall & down again so he can't score that side so keeper should stand the other. Absolutely basic. We've just allowed him a free shot at goal. Even more frustratingly, it's a clear dive for the free-kick too.

Agreed. New systems, new formations, new teammates & new styles of play don't just affect new players.

    Transfer targets

The fact a CB is preferred to him in midfield now & when Sheaf is fit he wouldn't even make the 20 man squad suggests the writing is on the wall for Kels.

    Kitching

No. Report is in. He has cited Kitching for Head to Head Violent Conduct. I would think we have decent grounds for appeal.
