When do we ever get the credit

The more honest ones have said about how well we played and how good our support was. Compared their place with a library. Then you get those with the pretend tears for something that happened before most of them were born. Can't be easy for them to be in the shadow of Newcastle all the time 😂

If we go up gate receipts are insignificant. It would just be difficult to get to watch a game if not a STH. A massive problem on making the capacity bigger is not owning the ground.

So who realistically are the teams left fighting for 5th and 6th

I agree with you. It's exactly what I have been saying myself. But after their game with Burnley the next 5, although not an easy run, are all winnable. Their harder games are at home until they play Leeds at the end of April. We could do with Burnley giving them a pasting. Put the GD in our...

I would like to think we would have our playoff place confirmed by the Middlesbrough game.

Other than not putting our chances away and letting in soft goals constantly.

I'm not so sure. Bristol City v WBA will be massive. I can see the winner of that joining us in the playoffs. As things stand a draw would be excellent for us.

And add to that we're looking favourites to meet them in the playoffs 😂 They have gone from thinking there's still a chance of making the top 2 to thinking their season is over. It wasn't just a win. It was men against boys.

Not writing anything off. But there's no sign of it from most clubs. Bristol City are looking good but they don't have an easy run of games.

So who realistically are the teams left fighting for 5th and 6th

They will be a lot more worried about playing us than we are playing them. It wasn't that long ago that they were so far ahead of us that most thought it near impossible to catch them. Well here we are. 2 points ahead of WBA and 5 points ahead of Middlesbrough. That's a lot with only 8 games...

Lack of goals is going to cost us...

Personally I think it would take a big offer from a biggish club for it to happen. The only reason he isn't with the USA squad is because he is coming back from injury. He is under contract and playing in front of a full stadium for a club going places. If he has settled here why would he want...

    Home games

I remember when talk of a new stadium started. How many thought a stadium holding over 30,000 was going to be too big? Or in our dark days where everyone would have fitted into 1 stand including the away support. We thought it was brilliant when we started to get 20,000. Now it is reaching the...

Lack of goals is going to cost us...

Could end up on 20 goals at this rate. Still have 11 games to go, 2 of them a good chance against Sunderland 😂

Keep them to long range shots or have to go through a crowded area. Not many sides have players like ours that can score from anywhere.

So who realistically are the teams left fighting for 5th and 6th

With 8 games to go you would think any side within 6 points of 6th still has a chance. But realistically I wouldn't look past Middlesbrough in 8th. Can't see where any of the sides below them could suddenly pull a winning run from....other than Sheffield Wednesday and they need a result today...

    Matt Grimes

Some people take too much notice of what supporters say for the club a player is leaving. They made out they were happy he was leaving as he stifled their attacking play with sideways and backwards passing. Yes he does do both but all in aid of ball retention. When he sees a player in a good...

Any side in the Championship would miss a €23m player (Le Fee). It seems their main problem is they haven't rotated the squad. Now they're paying the price with injuries and players that need a rest. They have a good side but not much depth in the squad.

    Matt Grimes

The player we have needed for years. And the best thing is he hasn't a clue what the treatment table looks like. Built of rock and steel and not glass like some others. He missed as many games waiting for his transfer to go through as he had in the previous 4 seasons. 4m for a player nearly 30...

Dovin 7 Didn't have much to do but calm on the ball. Kept getting them to try and get the ball, leaving space up front for our quick attacks. Everyone else 8 or above. Wright as close to a 10 as we will ever see. Was everywhere and a constant threat. Cracking strike for his 1st goal on his...
