Bit it was only just outside the box the first time he tried to take it. Hamer took the ball then threw it forward. Nothing happened. Then Dovin got his hand to it but couldn't stop it. I've had enough of players being shot dead yet sprint the length of the pitch when getting the decision...

Or being obnoxious about the free kick Collins took where he kept making him take it further back. A few times he told him to take it back which totalled a few foot when a GK is going to hit it the length of the pitch. Compare it to the free kick Hamer scored against us. Took it well forward...

Or refs. The ref should have seen the handball as he was closer. The linesman should have seen it as the player's hand moved a lot after it got hit by the ball.

I'm with the majority in showing my displeasure but also willing to show my support especially when a vilified player helps us to win.

I agree with you there but to me I allow an attacking player more than a defending player. A defending player can't afford mistakes. An attacking player is probing trying to make a goal. He made the chance for our winning goal.

To me the linesman was the dodgiest out of the two. Spotted every infringement we made even when we didn't make one but missed the clear handball in the area. A couple of his offsides looked real dodgy.

    Sheaf and Grimes

If we ignore the defence splitting passes Grimes made yes he didn't have a good game.

I thought he had a decent game tonight. Was very unlucky a couple of times. But the biggest bonus was after the battering he got his shoulder held firm.

I really enjoyed the win. I just don't understand those who rip our own players apart then can't bring themselves to acknowledge anything good that they do.

Predictable maybe. But another poor ref made it difficult again. If we got the pen it would have been a different game. They had a game plan and it nearly worked. Another day another dollar. Onwards and upwards.

Fair play to you if you want to rip our own players apart and not say anything good when they help us to win a game.

Why? If you're prepared to rip one of our own players apart just for being named in the team you should be able to mention that the same player is a reason why we won the game. 3 players were involved in the goal. Collins who gets lots of shite, Rudoni then Paterson who gets lots of shite.

I only have one thing to say about that goal. The insurance policy on signing Paterson got us the win.......and it was Collins who sent the ball to Rudoni to supply the cross for the goal. Can all those who rip Collins to bits all the time just give him a slight pat on the back for the 3 points...

Playing Portsmouth at home is better than being a club that hopes we lose at home to Portsmouth. That will mean realistically a 3 horse race for two places as far as we're concerned. 2 points above 7th and 5 points above 8th with 5 games to go. Last game at home to the side in 7th. If we fail...

Rather calm. We have it in our own hands to do it clear on points.

I can see this being a backs to the wall game by Portsmouth and we struggle to score. If not we will get a few.

Leicester and the Prem are just like a junkie and drugs. They just can't see life without it but they know it's going to totally fuck them up at some stage.
