Goalkeeper Simon Moore expected to sign according to the Bladesman.

Jobello played, I think, the first nine games of the promotion season. We were unbeaten in those games. The first game he missed, Rotherham away, we got thumped. I think that saying Jobello's injury was a catalyst for promotion is almost as big a myth as saying that Jones injury helped us get out...

Jodi Jones - Loan out, U23s or 1st Squad

I think Jones is a really skillful player who, if he can stay fit can make an impact in the team. More of a goalscorer than O'Hare,I think that both him and Jones could work well together. Based on last pre season, I feel, had he stayed fit, he would have featured in the team quite a lot.

Transfer Rumour Bremang gone to Barnsley

You have the wrong Thomas. I think the one who flattered to decieve was Connor not Luke. (Luke was a good player for us).

    21/22 Summer transfer mega-thread

Makes you wonder why Robins kept him on for not one, but two more years. For me, both Kelly and Hamer were more than up to the level. Yes, Hamer's form tailed off in the second half of the season, down to tiredness and the relentless nature of the league as much as anything. Kelly remains one...

Which one of Kelly or Hamer isn't up to the Championship?

    21/22 Summer transfer mega-thread

I'm just being pedantic really. Had Robins not come in then we could have ended up like Notts County. As it was the season in League Two was the turnaround season.

    James gone to Brizzle

He is, but for me so is Kelly. I think Walsh would be too with his best days still to come.

    James gone to Brizzle

Based on how James and Kelly played for us last season and how Walsh played in League One, I would still have the same opinion of these players whether James had signed for us or not. Its just a point of view that’s different to yours.

    James gone to Brizzle

Walsh doesn’t have to be PL class, just up to a good Championship standard. It was you who mentioned James and his PL days, which seem to be behind him.

    21/22 Summer transfer mega-thread

To be honest, the year in League Two wasn’t that bad and ended very well, it was the several years that preceded it that were the problem.

    James gone to Brizzle

He might have been good enough for the PL at one stage, but as no PL team came in for him, you would have to say that the Championship is now his level. I like him, he is a good player but of the two I would sooner have Walsh.

    James gone to Brizzle

Yes I think you're right. I would be an unmitigated disaster if I were the manager. But then again I think you would be too! I would sooner have Kelly and Walsh than James, just an opinion.
  13. Irish Sky Blue

    James gone to Brizzle

All about opinions. If I had to pick the player who contributed most to our promotion then it would be Walsh. It was a league below and he has missed a year but I think he is such a good player he would still be a major influence for us in the Championship. If I had to pick between Kelly and...

    James gone to Brizzle

I liked James, but if there was a choice, I would much sooner have Walsh.

University of Warwick - Ccfc mentioned

How can you be positive about something that you don't think will happen? If you don't think it will happen doesn't this also mean that you think Sisu are again stringing people along? Also I am sure Boddy himself has stated that he is not involved in anyway with the new stadium. For what it's...

I liked Thomas too. I was surprised he didn't make more of an impact at Barnsley. I thought he was great for us and a cut above League One. With the right club and in the right circumstances, that might still be the case.

    New supporters club near town?

He was played the wrong way by first Gould and them McKay. It was only when Sillett took over that the team played to his strengths. After that he was immense. He played and was superb for a few seasons after the cup win until Butcher made the idiotic decision to replace him with Rosario. That...

They played together at Man City but Hutch was probably past his best while Bennett hadn’t reached his.
