Better tonight. Kane held up the ball well and others around were more in tune. Saka MOTM but there are a good few that could claim it.

The moment he gets on the ball the opposition look scared and they know they’re either going to draw a foul or he creates a chance. It’s also noticeable how they have to change how they play and mark.

Fair enough. Harsh on them. My apologies. Just feels like a punch in the gut at the moment. Similar to the game in St Etienne in a way. So much of the ball but we lacked the killer instinct when it was blatantly obvious what we needed to do to to change that. Says a lot really that that night...

Incredibly pissed off and dejected by that. Drawn with a bunch of plumbers and PE teachers. Too many players didn’t turn up tonight. Best part of Kane’s game is when he drops back and brings others into play but when they’re not at the races he needs to pick up on that, change tact and solve the...

The last few games are throwing a spanner in the works for Germany. It’s looking likely they will need 4 points to qualify.

It’s a few seconds. What’s the harm? Great way to support the team. Boo the players before kick off.

I find it very sad that players taking a stand against discrimination is being frowned upon. I know some organisations that some may not support or like have used the knee however the players are doing it for one reason only.

No my point is why should it be any different for players and managers? I am a City fan. Don’t get what you’re going on about.

Why should it be different for managers than what it is for players?

An England manager should be English. Wasn't happy when the FA appointed Wiegman and would be equally disappointed if they went down that route again. The FA have gone on and on about English clubs not giving English coaches a chance and they go and appoint someone from Holland themselves...

As good as it can be there (crap). Hopefully it’ll be a lot better with 3000 Sweatys there on Friday rather than a couple of hundred Croatians.

Get in there. Buzzing! Got some work to do yet but plenty of positives to take from the performance. Trippier, Phillips, Sterling and Rice all very good. Solid from the rest. Once Mount and Foden get going we’ll be well on our way. On to Friday.

What others have said is right. Teams that play defensive football tend to do well in tournaments. It would be interesting to see what happens if we went all out attack though. I doubt many sides would be able to handle it.
