Why?
A good training exercise. Kept control of the ball most of the time. Good goal by KKH from a great long ball by Grimes. Andrews has well improved with his loan spell. Hopefully we keep him for the season ahead.
Not having pur usual poor start would help.
But if you read back my thoughts are Ipswich could be well clear. This looks like it could easily be our best chance so far of getting promotion. There's no team like Leeds to add to two strong sides that have come down. Leicester are a car crash...
I just can't make my mind up on this. I see Ipswich getting close to the 100 points but without knowing which players are going to be in/out of the others I presently don't see anyone giving them a serious challenge.
This is why I see us as 2nd to 4th as things stand. Get a good start and it...
They won't need to be anything special to survive their first season. Can see it being a scrap between Oxford, Preston, Charlton and Sheffield Wednesday for the bottom 3 places. Sheffield Wednesday will do well not to finish bottom.
I'd add Norwich with them. Expect them both to be close to the playoffs but just failing.
Stoke are the strangest side. For years now they have spent a fortune and never get involved near the top. But their constant changing of managers doesn't help.
2nd to 4th.
Can't see much past Ipswich 1st.
Leicester could well be in big trouble. Stuck with players on massive wages they can't shift and a looming points deduction.
Southampton i can see going either way. They've lost their best defender on a free and other players are looking to...
With the money they have spent they should do better than that, but not many would get into our side as things stand. Think we will end up 2nd to 4th and Brum 6th to 8th.
Not having 2 good GK's could easily derail our season. Things quickly went downhill last season when Dovin got injured. A GK of the calibre of Rushworth for £5.5m would have been a very good investment.
This £15m seems to be some kind of investment. We don't even know where it's come from. How...
Yet again here we go again.
MVE will go as long as we receive an acceptable offer. €6m isn't acceptable. He will be worth more than that in a years time. €6m is the best offer we seemed to have had so far. With the sell on clause we would be reaching about even. That isn't good enough for one...
If if but but.
We heard all this noise a couple of years ago. Then Gyokeres and Hamer were nearly worthless as they only had a year each left on their contracts.
I had the piss taken out of me constantly because I thought we might get £15m for Gyokeres and £10m for Hamer. Even I had devalued...
