Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Just another example of a long list of Labour being totally detached from its traditional roots. They deserve everything coming to them in next few years.

Yes. It’s a legacy issue which is why I said, because the adults pricing have been harmonised, it should be a ‘non-issue’ this season. Previously, at £250 for an adults ST and a child’s ST at £50 is still 75% of the price for a standard adults ticket. So it’s easy to see where the system was...

    Family Zone Query

It’s a deliberate policy. The club wants to crack down on adults going into the FZ without the 1-2 kids on their ST. For all the honest people who would have genuine illnesses, there’s people gaming the system. I’m not sure how proactively the stewards check ST at the turnstile. Personally, I...

    season ticket sales

You can move to unreserved seats. There just aren’t many available. Last season I had to ring up the ticket office to move my seat and they were helpful to be fair. There’s also STHs who need to move out of the FZ because they have turned 18.

    season ticket sales

There is a need for a waiting list because there are no ‘available ST’ right now. The retention rate for current STHs will probably be 85-95% which means there will only be 2000-4000 STHs available after the 19th June at the most. So yeah, if you want a ST that badly, it makes sense to pay to...

Adidas leading the way in the PL next season.

Nike’s kits have gone massively downhill in recent years. Bespoke Adidas kits are generally the best imo. Any sponsor that isn’t castors and does bespoke designs for us is a win. Umbro could do a decent job given they’re a heritage sponsor.

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

If you throw a young player into the mix too soon it can destroy their confidence and hinder their development. If he’s good enough, he’ll have made the mark at Motherwell and probably get another loan to prove himself. When it comes to our academy, we’re probably years off producing another...

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

Something to do with the club World Cup… it’s a waste of time but I suppose it evens the playing field because there those teams participating had a ‘mini’ transfer window to register players for the tournament. In practice, almost definitely makes no difference.

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

I cottoned on to that as soon as the post was sent! 😂 There was a lot of people calling for him for to start/play more. Bearing in mind Sheaf had spent a lot of time on the sidelines, we had 3 operational CMs; Eccles, Torp and Allen. Here are a few takes extracted from the forum on this...

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

Respectfully, no idea why you think that… we’re not owned by SISU anymore. Hamer = £15m with a sell on % Vik = £20m + add ons Rudoni has longer on his contract and younger than both players.

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

Considering Rudoni put in Hamer numbers last season… we could reasonably insist on a fee of £20-25m for him. He’s younger than Hamer was 2023 with 3 years left on his contract. We’d be stupid to not demand an unreasonably high fee.

    Championship: Season Ticket price comparison

Agreed, it can seem punitive. I suppose that’s a legacy issue when people (including myself) took the Michael and got concession/kids STs for relatives. In fairness to the club, the FZ is also one or two blocks larger back from when I had one in block 33 as a teenager. The club has made an...

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

Exactly, assuming his physical recovery goes to plan… will he recover mentally? In all likelihood, he recovers and all is fine. That said, it’s clear that Lampard doesn’t fully trust the 2 back up goalkeepers so a short term option doesn’t do anything for us.

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

A 6 month loan would expire in Jan so it’s not a recall. Anyway, a short term deal assumes three things: 1. Dovin’s form picks up from where he left off 2. His rehab continues to go well 3. He doesn’t get injured again Set aside the question of whether or not Wilson and Collins are sufficient...

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

The guidelines for an ACL is 9-12 months so it could be as long as March. Equally, a 6 month loan means the parent club can opt to take him back at the end of the loan which would be mostly likely a 1st Jan expiry. Even end of Jan is within the recommended rehab period for an ACL injury so...

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

This season proved that you need 2 competent GKs. People like to forget that Dovin was regularly putting in MOTM calibre performances in our run Jan-Feb. With an ACL, particularly the way Dovin did the injury, there’s the risk he could do it again. It has to be a 12 month loan minimum, a 6...

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

There’s also no guarantee Dovin comes back in fine form. The risk is too high to get this wrong. It has to be a full season loan or a permanent transfer for a GK we’d be happy to be number 1.

For context, it was cheaper to get a FZ adult + child ST than a ST at Solihull Moors (£299 early bird, £340 full price). They allowed 2 U12s free admission with a full paying adult. If people want to bring the whole family out to every game, spend money on food and alcohol… it’s obviously...

Here We Go Again - Doug King's Latest Pricing Shambles

£250 for an adults ticket is genuinely ridiculous value. It was cheaper for me to buy my ST and my brother’s in 23/24 than to buy a full priced adult ticket. My brother’s attendance % was not great so it was underutilised or often used by an adult. The optics aren’t great increasing prices in...

Here We Go Again - Doug King's Latest Pricing Shambles

It’s because people want a premium product paying bargain prices. Peak cakeism. I sit next to a Leicester STH at work and their ST in the ‘cheaper zone’ is £500.
