Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

Dolan seems a funny sort of winger for how Lampard wants to play, watching his reel there wasn’t much in the way of getting header height crosses over. I wonder if we’ll make some changes to how we set out.

True or not, decent quality rumours and these things usually have a no smoke without fire type situation. So looking positive for the window.

Demand creates jobs. You can be the most brilliant businessman on the planet with all the capital in the world but if you’ve got no customers who can afford your product at a profit then you haven’t got a business. A billionaire still only has one body, can only be in one place, only has 24...

Id still like to know what the issue would have been with bailing out the people rather than the banks. The cash would go straight to the banks anyway, but you’d have had people without a millstone around their neck during an economic recovery. Banks would have tightened up lending criteria...

I wouldn’t say it’ll blow your socks off, but it was a fun couple of hours.

Thought I’d check if he’s already got one and the Blackburn fans have provided:

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

No i agree it’s well down the list but I’d but a backup DM well down there too tbh. If we’re hitting that level of rebuild it would suggest a much bigger one than we’re suspecting. Which is partly why I don’t think we are in for Travis. Or I’m misreading how we’re going to set up next season of...

Reforms backers are mostly financial and fossil fuel interests so hardly surprising. https://www.opendemocracy.net/en/dark-money-investigations/reform-uk-funders-nigel-farage-5-million-donations-fossil-fuels-tax-havens/

It’s a cheap thing you can do any claim you’re doing something about carbon. Tory environmentalists like animals and countryside so ticks those boxes too. Funny take from a man who claims this though...

Yeah I mean if we’re doing a proper clear out he’s a better option than them, but like you say we need something else first. Still think we need a Rudoni successor partly cos he’s so key to how we play and partly cos I expect him to be gone next summer.

When do the players report back

That’s how we got Saka (though think it had been reported in Belgium)

I would with Travis. Don’t think he’s what we need at all in midfield.

    Sheaf? Wilson? Nethenyahu?

Best TV shows or movies you can recommend

Watched M3GAN 2.0. I enjoyed it but they’ve really leaned into the camp comedy rather than horror stuff. Was pretty funny in places and looked like everyone involved had a blast. The young dancer who plays MEGAN is incredibly talented, some of the movements are just spot on.

Not seen much of him. I assume he’s backup for Saka rather than a replacement?

Some good news. No doubt someone will tell me they hate trees. Think this is from Boris’ time but not 100% https://forestrycommission.blog.gov.uk/2025/06/27/a-year-of-growth-tree-planting-rates-hit-their-highest-level-in-over-20-years/

That’s fair, just saying that it’s very much a fringe issue for parents who can afford that. The vast majority need proper SEN care from the state.

Seemingly at about the same rates as anyone else, so about 3%. Clearly it’s an important matter for you personally, but in reality it’s a tiny fringe matter when talking about this stuff.
