Of course it's an option. It's always best to have players that can play in more than 1 position. But to try and make out that it's best to take up the option without any injuries and play a striker on the left leaving the left winger without a place on the pitch is absolute madness.

Of course he would be a great signing. But so would most players if you spent £10m plus addons on them. We've never spent £10m on a player before. And I can't see our first £10m player being a defender.
