If we're looking to that game for inspiration let's hope we play the same formation

There's plenty of reasons why we can't! But that doesn't mean we won't. There were plenty of reasons why they shouldn't have won last night but they did, but I'm hoping against hope really.

What does it matter though? Everyone on here wants us to win, but if people think we can't go up there, a goal down and win our first away game for 2 months its hardly being unnecessarily pessimistic. But what posted on here won't make any difference it's all down to the manager and players now.

We dominated possession, we didn't dominate them. The game went to plan for them. We dominated possession against Derby, Plymouth and even to a lesser extent Sheff U yet we lost all 4 games.

It happens with all our strikers, should have played Bassette, he plays, should have played Simms, he plays, should have played BTA, It tells me none of them are good enough, (currently in Basettes case and Id still like to see if we could develop him).

I think they may very well try.

We haven't won since March 1st away from home. We had more joy in the preceeding couple of months playing 3 at back. Not really radical to suggest reverting back.

We haven't won away since March 1st. It's not unreasonable to think we'll struggle. I hope we go against recent form and do the job, just like Sunderland last night. But it wasn't unreasonable for their supporters to be pessimistic and its not unreasonable for us to be.

Yeah, was pissed off and wanted him dropped last night. But in the cold light of day, he clearly has to start and hope he turns up.

It's baffling. Even if you don't give a fuck about the club or the team, (not saying that is the case), surely being part of team that gets promoted is hugely beneficial on a personal level.

Hopefully we do. Whatever Lampard does, (and I hope it's not the same formation as last night but think it will be), he needs the front men to turn up because you're on a hiding to nothing the way they're preforming.

Wright does have a languid style. But I'm in 13 so got a very good view of him 2nd half and he just seemed half hearted. He frustrated the hell out of me. As poor as he is, BTA dies at least offer a bit of intensity in his efforts.

Though you also don't tend to analyse the opposition defence when we score so maybe a few of ours have been down to fuck ups.

What have you seen to suggest we can go up there and get a result? Can just see them sitting in again and hoping to hit us on the break. We get a goal it changes the tie again but not sure how we go about doing that.

I doubt Wilsons going anywhere. But hopefully he doesn't start next season, even if that means a loan until Dovin is fit again.

Another point, and this is just my take on it, but I don't think anyone will have been happier to see Brad Collins dropped than Brad Collins He looked broken at the end of the Luton game.

Both are possible, as was the case at Plymouth. But Collins was becoming a common denominator in a lot of goals conceded.
