People moaning that because they decided to go to Germany for a meaningless friendly (an excuse for a piss up somewhere new in reality) they get offended when a few of the team don’t applaud them at the end. Probably the same people who wouldn’t have brought it up if it had been 2-0 to us……

Jeez! A preseason friendly apparently. Ref was in a no win situation. Tried to let the game be played but eventually was forced to get out the yellow cards-could have also been one or two more. Good performance from Rudoni and MVA.

Apparently it is just the morning flights that are seeing the big queues. I’m off to Spain Monday evening so keeping my fingers crossed. We have somebody in our party that requires assistance/wheelchair so that might see us jump the queue if there is one. 😁

Same-Foo fighters superb! Seen them 3 times but will never go to another gig at Villa park. Left Stratford around 4 and just about got in in time for the FF coming on stage around 7-30pm! Chaos inside and outside, an absolute shambles of a venue. Was really surprised when they announced one...

Brilliant festival. Didn’t see a bit of trouble-well organised aswell. We stayed off site 20 minutes away and roads were clear all the time. Usual overpriced food and drink which is to be expected. Keane the highlight for me. Pet Shop Boys good aswell for the nostalgia. Simple minds 👎

Seen them again last week at the Isle of Wight festival-top form as usual but “good riddance/time of your life” was a strange song to finish on.

Haven’t read through all the posts but certainly a bolt from the blue! Hope fans that slagged Boateng off and called him a judus when he left for a bigger club to advance his career ( faux Villa rivalry thing) can somehow loosen that noose around his neck.

The problem people have with him is they are leaning towards the price tag (4m if to be believed) and not the player. Much the same as Wright was written off (7-8M) before a ball was kicked.

Yeah-that’s about all he is good for-carrying the water and the bag of balls.

Good luck to him and I wish him all the best wherever he ends up-Leicester, Leeds or wherever it is. Some people just can’t get their heads around a player who really contributed to turning us around moving on to pastured new. It’s a job-they are not fans. Isn’t it good that other clubs are now...
