    its our own fault

We scored 19 goals in 8 games and we only played well once? How about the 3-0 against Brighton, the 4-2 against West Ham, the 3-1 against Northampton - none of those were decent performances?

    its our own fault

How exactly did we win it by 'fluke'? We won 7 matches in 90 mins plus 1 on penalties in the cup run. Despite how we played in the league last season we deserved to win the trophy.

There's no loan window anymore, it was removed for last season. Whatever we have come 31st August will be it until January (bar any free agents who are available).

    David Smith-What Went Wrong?

Smith bulked up after the first season and never looked as agile or as quick again.

    ST sales

You keep saying this but I've never seen the club say we have sold an amount on a Friday and then announce a lower attendance on the actual day.

    Marc McNulty Signs for CCFC

If he kept up the rate the was scoring at with Portsmouth he would have got 17 goals over a full league season. Portsmouths top scorer this season got 13 and Plymouths got 14, what we ideally need is goals from more than just one key player...

    League 2 playoffs

Based on watching the Huddersfield v Sheff Wednesday game earlier in the day I'd happily take the League Two play off games. 5/6 goals in each game and all the sides tried to attack and have a go.

    Why no new c e o yet ?

You don't usually apply for a CEO role, someone is more likely to be targeted and approached at that level.

League Two top goal scorers and assists

Derek Adams: Plymouth Argyle boss credits wholesale changes for promotion Interesting article about Plymouth who signed a completely new team last year and got promoted. Top scorer was a midfielder on 14 goals, their forwards weren't particularly good.

    Abandoning the game today

Blackpool were fined and legal action was taken against the fans who would not leave the pitch. Anyone stupid enough to go on the pitch needs to remember that it's a criminal offence and could have repercussions for them. Going on because lots of people do is not a defence.

Rumour: Hoffman and Elliot takeover negotiations

None of the noise coming from the club is now saying that we are not for sale as they have previously done, only that the bids weren't acceptable.

Match Thread Coventry v Walsall Match Thread - Saturday 22nd Apr

Best case we get a fine which affects the budget for the team and not the owners. I really don't get the logic of anyone that wants the game abandoned.

Match Thread Coventry v Walsall Match Thread - Saturday 22nd Apr

No because any points deduction would affect us with new owners if we were taken over or a fine could just mean it takes more money for them to leave.

Match Thread Coventry v Walsall Match Thread - Saturday 22nd Apr

With things actually happening off the pitch now and offers being made surely getting the game abandoned would be beyond stupid.

    Walsall Saturday

No but they also hadn't had issues like the Sheff Utd game or Northampton on top of that. As for a fine, it won't hurt SISU it will just reduce the playing budget for next season.
