    Transfer Rumour January transfer window

Christ, the list of duff pound for pound strikers is light. I’d like to offer Drinkell, Lamptey, Brazil, Kyle, Eastwood and Chaplin. And that’s not even scratching the surface. On Simms he’s fine if you want goal output. I’d hope he’s working seriously hard on his all round game. His style and...

Oggy named our greatest ever player.

Longevity and service = Oggy. Pure ability = Keane & Regis Most underrated = Borrows and Peake

He literally did do it for us.

    Bassette myth

He and BTA played yesterday due to their work rate. Norwich were always going to have lots of the ball. It was the same as the Spurs game in thinking. If Simms wants to be a top player and therefore be an instant pick he’s got a lot of basic skills to work on such as trapping, passing and pressing.

    Recoupable amount

We’d definitely get that amount back. And we haven’t blown £45m. We sold some players for huge profit and spent it.

    Signing next 48hrs

That’s a myth. Owning the stadium would be of no benefit. Possibly quite the opposite

    We look poor

Half wit, gimp and turd. Apparently our three January window targets.

    We look poor

Spot on. Keep our best players. Sell the dead wood. Whatever you can scrape together for them add to the pot and get a couple in. Add a loan or two.

    Transfer Rumour January transfer window

Really don’t understand these theories. If we got £40m we’ve still got to buy a first choice cf, rb and mf. Probably using most of the £40m. Nothing gained.

    Jordan James?

    Relegation Battle?

The reason we’re not in a relegation battle is the teams below us arent capable of a string of results better than what we’ll get.

    Less and less arsed

It was the nature of the defeat. I doubt many expected much more than a point before the game. But to lose two goals in injury time is particularly frustrating. But that’s football. We’ll do it to someone else at some point. Let’s not kid ourselves we can or ever will be able to get the team out...

    Ability or Application?

It’s a mix. Some just aren’t good enough. Some are good enough but low in confidence. But what we really lack is footballing nous, a bit of nastiness and some hard nosed experience. I remember us bringing in Carlton Palmer short term a few years back. Saw us across the line in games like Norwich...

It’s ridiculous to judge Lampard this early, ridiculous. Patently someone else’s badly constructed squad.

    We look poor

We’ve spent all season confirming we have a terrible defence and a very limited midfield. We’ve now bolted on an injury to our best forward and another who was just finding form. Why did some expect Lampard to be able to improve things markedly? It will take time, playing personnel changes and...

    Transfer Rumour Godden

Amazing how a defeat blows all perspective out of the window. Godden - excellent finisher in his prime. Patently gone in the legs in his final season and could not play a role.

    Less and less arsed

No, not losing interest. Enjoying the season and its twists and turns. Fully engaged and optimistic.

    Listen just hear me out.

Let’s get real. Any championship club would take Simms, Wright, Bassette, Rudoni and EMC. There’s absolutely no pressure on Lampard as of now if we have any credibility. We’ve lost in injury time. It’s gutting. But it happens. What we don’t need is ridiculous knee jerk reactions.

    We look poor

We look poor because we are poor. But the salient fact is that, for most, poor is in comparison to teams expecting to be in and around the play offs. We’re a mid table champ budget club. That’s where we should be looking. We can’t pay big enough wages to consistently challenge top end.

Utter, utter frustration. Terrible way to lose. On the bright side Dovin and Kitching looked good.
