MvE is a quality right back, but not particularly effective as a wingback. I like Thomas, he's raw and learning, but has great potential. But you need an experienced player to bring a player like that on, and he doesn't have it.

Utter crap. He never hid, even when having a poor game; always showed for the ball. It was one of the best things about him.

Zola got one when substituted in a League Cup game the year after we were relegated, too. I quite liked that one; the game was lost, and Zola was a genuine legend of the world game. Showed some class.

We didn't offer him what he felt he was worth, so he didn't stay. I don't see why anyone has an issue with him, or that.
