why dont SISU be the shrt sponsor ?

Oh I dunno, they could make the "i" into a big, brown Mr Hanky-like turd. That could work on some level.

Mums the word, they'll never work it out. Especially if we cross-pollinate and get Steven Van Zandt running the front ;)

Not if they come out of it with new owners. But of course, that couldn't happen, as one bidder would be paying out their winning bid to....themselves. So it was obvious that if it was just about bid value, they were always going to win. It was no kind of fair fight, but it certainly can't be...

OK then, partisanly anti-ACL to the point where it is tantamount to being pro-SISU. Or desperate to point out how bad Richardson was, because "he was worse than SISU". So? Caligula was worse than Charles Saatchi, but his picture isn't in the papers this week. I get the basic mind set of saying...

But as your own speech marks indicate, they're not "new", are they? To coin a Fisherism, "it's business as usual", isn't it?

No way near as cool. He's not even on the same continent of cool. And that continent is Antarctica. It'd be like being run by a wise-talking NY gangster, what's not to like? The dirty end of the SISU spectrum :)

Yeah, me for one. My worst-case scenario is that everyone forgives them if/when they come back to The Ricoh and they have more licence to carry on destroying the club. I do however accept that I am in the hardline minority in this-most fans what the club back in Coventry, period.

Wow, my dad's mate who slept with my mum behind his back when I was a kid loved Gary Moore! I like how they're metal, but with many strings to their bow. There's definitely something folky going on. The track that really caught my imagination was Emerald-this is the Peel Session version...

You, er, really like things at the extremes of the octave scale, don't you? :) A duet of them on Kiss would be fine.

I've spent the last 30 mins checking out tracks off a Thin Lizzy album, Jailbreak, from which R6 had just played a corking track. It's great. Although I was a bit annoyed to see that one original review on release likened it to "Bruce Springsteen cast-offs". The only other way in which I can...
