A few observations from the Emirates experience

Got to a pub near Highbury & Islington tube at about 5.00 Friday evening. Pub was mostly arsenal but it was Cov doing all the singing. The walk up to the ground was like the old days at Highfield road when there was a big game on busy streets traffic walking past busy pubs all part of the...

after half time twist and shout

Anyone who saw that at the Emirates tonight won't forget it, turned their concourse into a mosh pit, stewards and police didn't know what to make of it, to stop it or to let it carry on bizarre not seen anything like it at a football game.

    Sisu Get to Peter Deeley

I have a reasonable amount of business acumen however a lot of knowledge of CCFC from 83 -97 before my first kid arrived but would consider myself an expert on pies, which should allow me to join the gang of 4.

Very worried by no signs of a striker coming in.

Went to Barnsley and saw our new striker play ( well run around a lot but looked poor) he isn't ready just yet and may go on to be a great player but if we are relying on him to give us a push for the pay-offs, then forget it. Worry not SISUE will continue to back the club as they promised

    Sisu Get to Peter Deeley

The SISUE plan is a new stadium outside of Coventry, building a stadium in Exhall is not bringing the club back to the city also being part of a plan to give the club with a 12,000 capacity stadium is also something I would not want to be associated with.

    Sisu Get to Peter Deeley

"When you dine with the devil make sure you have a long spoon". My experience of the private equity / hedge fund model is that it involves risk but higher than average return. I hope these city business people recognise that it is just not financial risk and that there also is reoputational...

Southampton - getting their lucky break

Don't agree, they would be able to sell the assets of the club such as the players for cash and then the club itself, to liquidate it out of spite is possible but for pure cash as it is their master, a sale of club and players would happen IMO.

    Football Related!!!!!!!!

although orient are in the top 3 the fact that we can't compete with them over a player is a sign of how far we have fallen and also a sign of things to come. Established players like Dagnall if they have options will go elsewhere, we will have to rely on loans and speculate with lower league...

Is AFC / Phoenix a step closer ?

Any hopes of SISU agreeing to go back to the Ricoh looks even less likely after their latest legal action. Northampton it is for the forseeable future. The new stadium "the fisher bowl" still seems to be out there in the realms of fantasy. the next few years will see us drift further, whilst...

    Spoke to a property lawyer

Not going to happen, SISUE want the freehold to sell on, CCC won't sell to them as there is no trust. The only viable solution is a low rental offer increased matchday revenues, CCFC are never going to own freehold nor any part of ACL. They had their opportunity to buy into ACL but didn't. Now...

    Spoke to a property lawyer

When JS made her offer of only interested if unencumbered freehold was it genuine or another stalling ta.ctic knowing that it was an unrealistic demand, I think it was the latter. CCC are run by elected local politicians accountable to the people of the city, to be involved in any of the...

no expert on charity law but they could invest their gains in the charity case which is CCFC.

    Spoke to a property lawyer

ACL = 50% council + 50% Higgs, I'm sure they could strike a deal to terminate the lease with CCC. As the lawyer explained its the sub-tenants who are commercial companies who would seek to mxaamaise the compensation from the opportunity, if I was de vere I would start very high, CCC just don't...

    Spoke to a property lawyer

Explained the situation ie SISUE want to buy the Arena - unencumbered, she agreed that this unrealistic, not impossible but very difficult and very expensive because of the sub leases. Isle of Capri have a sub lease with ACL. If it is a long lease with no break clause and Isle of Capri are...

I have said earlier that this fan deserved shooting down as it was a bad thing to say but we could rely on you to be there to do it but this poster aside what is your contribution to this site is it ever to venture an opinion on SISUE or the football league, no its to wind up other fans, again...
