Why are you suddenly banging on about everyone who attended when King was here? That's got nothing to do with the current issues and is completely different. I'm sure you're trying to make some kind of smart-Alec point, but it's so far up it's own arse, it's lost on me!

Bit harsh. I certainly preferred them as rabble-rousing trouble makers to the neutral and kinda pointless entity that they've become, though.

It really is as if he's thought "hmm, now who are the two greatest ever, most popular British musical acts of all time? If I slag them off, I'm sure to wind people up and get a few bites!". Nah, he wouldn't do something so...Low ;)

He did all of Wise's running, as Palmer did McAllister's. Without Doyle alongside him, we'd have probably had the Wise who had been warming the bench at Southampton.

Give Barton Doyle's attitude and workrate, and they might yet!

Hahahahahahahah! I fucking said she looks like she used to be a man when I first saw pictures of her, and I was right! It looked so obvious! Hahahahahahahahaha! This is of course made funnier by the fact that I watched the Quagmire's Dad episode of Family Guy last night :claping hands:

    Michael Doyle

IMO he was of course limited, but when used in a side playing direct football (Adams, Boothroyd) he was consistently our most effective player. That's why he won Player of The Year at the club, and he was vital to Boothroyd's early success here. He covered more ground than anyone on the pitch...

Whilst I don't know who Wordworth was, I'll agree that song was shite: but it was an Anthony Newley piss-take! You could have just as easily picked "Yellow Submarine" or "Don't Pass Me By" from The Beatles. More pertinently, Tin Machine were awful, and he had a lot of misses early in his career...

Just when you think that Grendel couldn't get any worse, he slags off The Beatles and Bowie. The man just loves to be hated! As for the lyrics in your sig....the author should be shot for crimes against the English language! Laughable nonsense not worthy of a second rate school metal band.

My best memory is of a stunning save he made, diving away to the top left-corner to push a seemingly unstoppable shot around the post. He's probably my favourite 'keeper since relegation, even ahead of Westwood. And according to FM at the time, he loved Coventry! Dunno how good he is now and...
