Elliot has proven in the past that he is prepared to jump on any bandwagon, he has remained a constant of many failed boards. I personally dont think he would offer anything of value on a board or as a chairman. All he was ever good for was reminding us that he had a loud ticking clock.

In fact reading it again, he wants to buy 50% of ACL, take over the running of it and then get the club out of Admin sounds like he is doing it on the cheap. Will the council be happy to hand over the running of ACL?

Why would we want Elliot as chairman? The game has moved on off the field, you need the best people in all roles as it has an impact on how the club is run. In terms of the footballing side of things Fisher and Waggott have done a decent job.

He is probably upset as this has scuppered his chance to return to the club....

Why would you propose a deal which is clearly detrimental to the football club you supposedly support?

Why would ACL spend money and ship in a new team to the Ricoh? Surely that would be a waste of taxpayers money? Why would a local authority get incolved with owning a football club? As fans of CCFC why would we travel to the ricoh to watch a different team, if you listen to some fans we dont...

What was the deal on the table? I would have no issue with the deal as long as we knew what it was? Similarly the new investors which have apparently been courted, what rental agreement if any, has been struck with them?

Quick questions Peter, Were you aware that the club potentially faced a further points deduction after coming out of admin without the agreement of SISU, or were you confident of them agreeing allowing a CVA to be formed?

The football league have not looked too kindly on clubs trying sneaky sneaky ways of avoiding points deduction, they can pretty much ride roughshod over everything and hit us with further deductions....
