    amazing

Away draw would be better. That way we could have a sizeable Cov attendance.

Do Sisu Realise What They Have?

In the circumstances, he has done a quite amazing job.

Do Sisu Realise What They Have?

I'm afraid that your post (quite understandably) focuses on the on the pitch matters. I'm afraid that it is very difficult to conclude that this is where SISU's focus lies.

    CCFC In Guardian Again

And earlier in that week, we'd beaten Sheffield Wednesday 5-0 at Highfield Road. It's a funny old game.........

    Dion Dublin

Neil Martin was my first "Sky Blue hero" - proper centre forward (none of this new fangled "striker" nonsense :))

    Huddersfield after Leon Clarke

It was certainly in a program - pretty sure it was the match where Quinny missed a penalty at the building site Kop end and late on Mick Harford scored the winner. I remembered it that he'd compared Beardsley's looks to the aforementioned bulldog, but I wouldn't want to put money on it.

    Huddersfield after Leon Clarke

    Wan't Harry's comment about "a bulldog chewing a wasp"?

    Just a quick one. (Ahem)

Thought his debut was away to Villa. Can't remember who the first home game was against.

    A Christmas toast

It is not USSkyBlue posting, he's been hacked. It's a well known fact that he is incapable of posting without mentioning "piss stained bed sheets" - hopefully he may be cured with psychiatric help someday. Although many feel that this is unlikely........

    Boxing Day

Yep, when fixtures came out always looked for the first game, the last game and the Boxing Day game. Oh well, at least no rows with the other half about missing family meals this year.... Every cloud......

    Sheffield United (A)

We can't know that. Once SISU made the decision to relocate us, it was never going to be reversed quickly. Personally I believe that reducing their income is the most effective card we have to play.

    ***Merry Christmas all on SBT!***

Happy Christmas all and let's hope that things take a turn for the better in 2014.

    Will CCFC vanish ?

    Perhaps it was poorly made............

    SSIU /ACL Christmas truce

If a third party said that they wanted to buy CCFC off SISU and said that they "would be prepared to have 2 independent valuations as a starting point for discussions", do you think SISU would: a) Say, great idea let's do it - or b) Say, if you want to buy, make us an offer?

    Will CCFC vanish ?

Not like those nice people from the Daily Mail.

We are fans of the year!

Couldn't argue with any of that.

We are fans of the year!

SISU made the decision to move the club to Northampton. The result was not difficult to forecast. If they are genuinely surprised by the financial impact, they should accept the offer to move back to he Ricoh. Unless they have a different agenda.....

    SSIU /ACL Christmas truce

Perhaps we could all meet halfway between Coventry and Northampton and sing Silent Night?
  19. DazzleTommyDazzle

    Will CCFC vanish ?

Well put. Wouldn't want any blame going against those nice chaps (and the nice chapess) from SISU.

    A crazy idea but....

Why would you spend £25m on a 32,000 seater stadium, when for the same money you could get a 12,000 seater that you might be able to expand up to 23,000 at some unspecified time in the future?
