    Strachan days

The top flight league then was to a very low standard. Take Man U out the equation it was a very tight and open league. Near the end of 90's it was one of the best leagues in Europe

Should have stayed up? No chance. We sold our best players (sell familiar?) and replaced them poorly. If we had kept keane, hadji and macca, we would have stayed up. Those days were brilliant supporting ccfc. Look at the football then compared to now. You seem to and torchmatic tolerate sisu...

    Strachan days

Selective memory? Erm how do you work that out? Between 97 and 2001 I witnessed some great football by some world class players. It was a privilege. We beat the villa away for the first time ever. Quarter final of the FA cup (which we should have won) wins against man utd, Liverpool, arsenal and...

Snap mate. It's so annoying seeing those pictures and the games (not just the fact of who the teams were) but the football too. And now when applaud a 0-0 draw away to Yeovil. It's desperate buddy

Just going through YouTube and looking back on when watching ccfc was exciting. Many on here say Strachan was a poor manager but these links below make me differ that opinion http://youtu.be/uiB87x0Dx1o http://youtu.be/obcllHW2n5s http://youtu.be/ZiK25DfE5kk http://youtu.be/gHop2d-AQDY...

Championship Midfielder in on loan tomorrow?

I would be more concerned about the lack of match practice bearing in mind it's almost February and he's played very little in the past 12 months

    Dominic Samuel signs

He's a young lad who according to my boss (a reading fan) a prospect. Tall and lanky but skilful with it. Causes defenders problems. Give him a chance hey, can't be much worse then we already have

    Jim Cunningham Speaks

He gets his name back in the limelight for his 5 minutes of fame again Look at his group name. Has his 'group' got any revelance now? Were back at the Ricoh. He used to come here pick fights with Simon then run off. Come back a few weeks later when les reid writes a new article then...

    Jim Cunningham Speaks

Rob Stevens? The fan who in my eyes was on a self serving mission and became best buddies with les reid. It's all very sickening. Another article by les reid with very little relevance. Getting rather boring now.

Waggott fault for the most stupid loan agreements ever known in football. Player obviously class but circumstances were unbelievable

Club’s owners “not prepared to take on the risk” of sharing the Ricoh

Duffer that's the issue here. Trust. Council don't trust them (rightly so) I don't trust them. They had too many chances to get things right and time and time again fucked up. How many more chances did they want? And moving the club to Northampton was the final straw for me. Could never trust...

Club’s owners “not prepared to take on the risk” of sharing the Ricoh

Come on duffer. Sisu have had 7 fucking years to buy the Ricoh or even a chunk. They started to play silly buggers and get the ground on the cheap. In fact for free by distressing ACL and moving the club to Northampton. During that time they officially said they would NEVER play at the Ricoh...

Club’s owners “not prepared to take on the risk” of sharing the Ricoh

Instead of assumptions use facts please. End of the day sisu didn't wanna buy the Ricoh or even part, fisher admits that. Wasps wanted to buy and stumped the cash. Sisu have fucked us up by using the Ricoh as a bargaining tool and lost. They tried to put pressure on ACL and it backfired. But...

Rugby Council still denies 'new stadium' contact...

Exactly but fans would rather waste their energy on council and wasps bashing. Both have no relevance to ccfc or our club. Sisu have killed this club but fans rather use the council as an excuse because of their left wing political bias

Club’s owners “not prepared to take on the risk” of sharing the Ricoh

We were averaging 18,000 a game when sisu took over. Now it's down to 6,000-7,000 now! Not because of a bandwagon culture. Because fans have had enough of court cases, temporary move to sixfields, lack of investment, constant bullshit etc... But hey lets just forget all that and knock wasps...

Club’s owners “not prepared to take on the risk” of sharing the Ricoh

Stu and nick jump straight on it lol. It tells me and most neutral people that wasps seen a gap in the market and pounced on it. Sign of a good business man. Sisu on the other hand moved a club 40 miles away to distress ACL and hardly anyone agreed hence the low low crowds.

Club’s owners “not prepared to take on the risk” of sharing the Ricoh

Glad to see the usual sisu sympathisers are turning this thread into another bash at wasps. Basically look at the facts. When Cov moved to sixfields attendances dropped to 1,500. Look at that compared to wasps. Attendances from 4,000 to 23,000. What does that tell you?

So what fisher said last week was irrelevant and incorrect regarding buying 50% of the Ricoh?
