Not a bad game with a lot of positives but Wolves didn’t need to work too hard to see us off. Sheaf and Cranie good first half. Both lwbs showed they would fit in nicely. Still not 100% convinced by Moore. waghorn and Gyokeres not bad but didn’t really test their defence. Walker one golden...

He has been part of our most successful team in a generation whilst largely playing on the left side of defence. Agreed. He was the strongest going forward in the last quarter of the game…a couple of very positive runs. Thought a couple of times first half he was dragged out of position and uncertain of the position but to be fair the wingers/forwards he was against were a level or 3 above any he has faced...

Lots of positives especially first half. Robins will be happy with the runout and the general organisation of the side. Many of the probable season starters did not play either through COVID or other reasons. Many of the youngsters performed well: Eccles showed he will be in match day squads...
