    1999/2000 season

Keane, McAllister and Chippo? As much as I liked the idea of Hadji, he was very inconsistent, and in our relegation season he only performed on the last day of the season. Aloisi should have had more opportunities, and Whelan, well...talk about a wasted talent. Froggatt was so nearly a...

Best City XI of all-time (Central defenders x 2)

Best I've seen is Trevor Peake, no doubt. I always rated Gary Breen and Liam Daish when we used to form a habit of spending too much on Brum centre-halves, but the second choice is Richard Shaw as he rarely made a blunder and was an excellent man-marker. So, Peake and Shaw. 80's

Why You Dislike Other Teams ?

Interesting Wolves 70's anecdote coming up, courtesy of step-dad who fancied himself as a 'Cov Ultra'...pfft: Basically, he starts kicking off during the cup game (??) at Molineux, gets arrested with his mate - and because he gave the Coppers so much stick and gob, they chucked him in a cell...

    1999/2000 season

That's because Strachan used very odd away day tactics, that pushed Keane too deep. Very, very negative and sloppy. We lost 5-1 to Tranmere in the cup that year, which just shows how truly abysmal Strachan's tactical ability was.

Another team who has somehow found space to build a new ground in London

And yet you keep coming back for more? As much as I dislike him (though I do agree with a lot he says), and he clearly dislikes most people, you play into his hands with this sort of reply. Even I've learned that for God's sake.

    Feeling Juicy

Holy moley, I bet you shit like a beast from all that citric, fruity goodness. Here's a thought, take up a time and money-consuming habit to take your mind off it? :D Good advice, yeeeees?

    Best film franchise

The Alien franchise would have been my favourite, had Resurrection not tainted the whole thing. Aliens is probably my all-time 'most watched' film, especially the extended version. I agree that the Bourne series is excellent and probably a good example of a franchise that can sustain a level...

    Tomorrow TM....

Jackett has more experience at this level, but TM is the better manager, imo. I'd rather keep hold of TM and MV, fend off the poachers with a big stick and pray that the CT don't start any more wild rumours.

    1999/2000 season

Strachan's away game tactics were truly appalling in that season; tried going for the old Martin O'Neill suppression tactic but he didn't use Keane as a forward very often and went 5 in midfield. Imagine the season we'd have had with a standard-ish tally of away wins? 5 or 6 maybe? We'd have...

Why You Dislike Other Teams ?

Eh? How is it illogical to base an emotion like hatred on something tangible? The only thing tangible to me (aged 15) when I was ran at by 3 large Hull fans was fear and shit in my pants. Had to bloody windmill my way through them and roadrunner home!

    Sky Blues Star Wars

It gives them something to do, leave 'em alone...they'll be back to the usual tripe soon enough. Saying that, Ruben Lameiras sounds like a Sci-Fi intergalactic bounty hunter. Or a Portuguese pimp.

    Mourinho Sacked

I know but, wow, players who won't perform for Mourinho? This is the guy that matched Ibrahimovic's personality and, in Ibra's own words, ''Jose turned me into a Lion". Abramovic needs his head examined. Like you said, he should have at least been given longer to turn it around, and knowing...

'I judge children by their names'

See, even a nickname can get you a shoeing in Glasgow. Imagine some div going into his local, saying he's named his boy Ferrari Panda the first...he'd barely get out with the ability to blink in unison.

    Mourinho Sacked

Earlier I said I can see him walking, but I didn't expect that despite the shit season he's had. Who can come in and make those players perform, if Jose couldn't? Doesn't make sense.

Why You Dislike Other Teams ?

Yeah, Leeds fans are a given, sadly. A law unto themselves, inside and outside the stadium. The rabid dogs analogy was perfect 'cos the vicious bastards always go in packs, like when you were set upon. Never dreamed of going to Elland Rd in all my years as a supporter, never will either. Oh...

    Chelsea

Just seen Mourinho's post-match interview after the Leicester defeat, he looked and sounded defeated. No fire in his belly, no whinging or moaning, just a flat and downcast attitude. It's against his grain somewhat, but I can see him walking.

    If Only I'd Videoed It!!

My one year old has just mimicked me doing the "City! (clap clap clap) City! (clap clap clap)" bit at the end of our song. Of course, now that I've got the phone out to record it, she's off gawping at the telly now. Proud daddy here, though.

'I judge children by their names'

Since it's American kids' names, it's permissive. I think. Plus our cousins over the pond have no sense of Irony, so this looks all complimentary to their choice for names. :D
