Has anyone got any updates from the SBT meeting tonight?

I don't know for a fact as mine was a gift but it's obvious that we don't own the brick and certainly wouldn't have any rights to do anything with it. No company would be stupid enough to sell something like that.

Has anyone got any updates from the SBT meeting tonight?

do we though? didn't we just buy the right to have our name on a brick? we don't own part of the stadium and whatever deal we took on when buying these bricks certainly wouldn't have ever allowed us to take our brick home.

Has anyone got any updates from the SBT meeting tonight?

Nick Eastwood: Derek Richardson owns Wasps not a Hedgefund. Wasps own 100% of ACL. No other parties involved. so whats with all the mgi, maltese hedge fund stuff we've been hearing for weeks? more spin and lies?

I think I'm going to be sick !

doesn't look like anything to be upset about, thats pretty much the absolute best scenario we could have hoped for regarding the seats isn't it?

fair enough if thats what he means its a very different question, presumably buying something with major potential that has a major issue that needs fixing is a much easier way of making money than buying something that is small and building it up. I think we'd have had alot of people wanting...

but that wasn't the dream was it, they owned a premiership rugby club that had no stadium and set out to fix that. Weather or not their solution was a good idea I have no clue nore do I care, but one things for sure buying another rugby club was a much worse one.

why would they want to buy crfc? they already had a team with no stadium, what good would buying another team have done for their situation?

I'm sure they do have a financial plan, I'm not sure how that changes the fact that a break even attendance figure doesn't exist it's too much of an over simplification of a complex topic to be a meaningful number, so asking for one would just be a waste of a question.

    Young City Fans

sure but they could now exactly the same if they wanted too. It wouldn't be legal but then it wasn't legal then either. I was an 80's kid and kids then were just as much trouble as they are now, just as disrespectful, just as self centered. There were just as many parents who thought the sun...

I think I'm going to be sick !

There is no way wasps will want rid, the only downside to us is the extra wear on the pitch (and they are purchasing an expensive hybrid one) the upside is rent, extra footfall to the arena and the businesses there which also increases the rent they can charge their tenants, the football club...

neighbours weren't allowed to hit naughty kids in the 80's and nore are kids now any worse than they were then.

I think I'm going to be sick !

With about 4 weeks to go they will presumably easily hit 22-25k, of course getting people to show up for something when it's special is easy as we saw with Gillingham it's much harder to turn these people into actual fans, they are making a decent attempt at it though with Greeters to help with...

Meet Wasps Tonight And Ask Your Questions

break even crowd numbers are such a massive over simplification as to be completely meaningless. You've got some tickets at £35, some as low as £15, then you've got free tickets (alot of them perhaps this year) and concession tickets and food/beverage and other merchandising. Then it also...

    This new stadium...

You've written about 10 posts now about why you won't defend your idea, rather than 1 actually doing so. Not a great job of saving yourself tedium. I would love us to own our own stadium as long as it was fit for purpose and if sisu actually did build one I'd be happy and have to change my...

    This new stadium...

No, I legitimately thought you were on the windup because your suggestion is that Aston Villa pay for half of a stadium they don't need and we become their feeder club, giving up the only one good thing the club has going for it it's academy while playing in a stadium too small for our club even...

    This new stadium...

You are on the wind up for sure, I've posted why I think your idea won't work and asked you to defend it 3 times now, each time you take a tiny part of my post, delete the rest of it and say I'm closed minded, I've asked you multiple times to explain how it would work, after 3 attempts I have to...

    This new stadium...

you posted that last time you were unable to debate. You keep saying I don't listen to what you say but you never actually say it. You havn't demonstrated how the new stadium could work financially, let alone how it would be better than buying the Ricoh for even double what wasps paid. I've...

    This new stadium...

They can, Thats what I said, there is no point debating it because we can just assume that you are right and it doesnt change the fact that the new stadium still wouldn't be viable.

    This new stadium...

I answered why it didn't work financially instead of responding to that you are taking this route, you've posted many times before tongue in cheek as some obscure way of making a point, when you do that you have to expect that people won't be sure in future if you are doing that again or are...
