    Webster out Pennington in

Yes he ran off Webster, no doubt about that, but Willis really should have come across and picked him up. However he was on his heels. Burge should also have got to to the ball. That's the problem with having to play youngsters in the back line, they are still learning and make mistakes that...

    Scunthorpe Match Thread

Despite the nay sayers on here, there is reason to be optimistic IMO. Last home game showed a definite improvement in forward play. Normally going one down at Preston leads to the flood gates opening, however there was a fair amount of fight and Nouble had the chances to win us the game. Yes...

    Sbt

The problem with the Trust is perception. Take the last vote for example, around 25% of the membership voted, but then the results were picked up the Telegraph and splashed across the back page like it was big news, in what I think can only be a form of retaliation against the stories coming out...

We have historically always been bad at getting shirts into the club shop. Not sure its anything new. Even as a kid I remember having to wait to get a shirt.

    Best Winter Matches ?

Its those new fangled "winter balls" now.... I remember a friend of mine bought a winter ball from "brittens" on Ball Hill, it was a right bugger to play with, it was leather but with plastic panels to stop the ball picking up moisture, used to kill your foot when kicking.

Hardly breaking news from your source. Would imagine everybody on here suspects what your "source" has told you.

Most intense period of play in a city match?

It was after we went 2 up at Tottenham. Teddy Sheringham seemed to be on a personal crusade to put us down.

    midfield deficiencies

How many passes did he pick on Saturday? When was the last time he influenced a game with his passing or running on the ball (which he is perfectly good at) like the Rochdale lads on Saturday? Its not Anti Fleck, its merely saying we need another option cos at the minute he aint cutting it.

    Blair Turgott

Yep, Sky Sports said it was between us and them... Personally for me a midfielder is a higher priority.

    midfield deficiencies

Fleck was abysmal on Saturday, he didnt want any responsibility on the ball and often played a 3 yard pass to Finch who in turn didnt offer much movement. The Rochdale lads were able to pick up the ball and run with it many times from a keeper roll out. I think Finch once went over the halfway...

Perhaps Pennington is likely to be out injured for a while.
