He's 18. Newcastle will be much happier keeping him on loan somewhere he fits in and is happy at that ages. As long as he keeps doing well and wants to stay he probably will.

Taking our number of current fit available squad players for Sunday down to 16.

Just done a quick count and if Swanson leaves that puts us at 15 first team players for Sunday.

Our squad is tiny as it is and we're three players short for the game next Sunday. Going to be a bench of kids at this rate.
