    Another Reid biased view

Not at all, not even sure how you can make that assumption. I was pointing out the value of the clubs youth set up, in whatever form it takes goes far beyond producing players who ultimately bring in a transfer fee. Which in my opinion is what the telegraph article failed to point out.

Thats been our problem since he has been out, or taken off. The lack of movement up front, its imperative the man in the middle has decent movement, this create space for the other 2 to move in. Shrewsbury especially were able to get tight on our front 3 due to this.

    Thursday transfer thread

Ojala has been training with us all week. Weird stuff going around the place, Mowbray reportedly not happy, no cash, yet we have purchased Turnbull, McBean has played for the U21's, all of which costs money.

    Another Reid biased view

As I pointed out to Simon Gilbert yesterday when the Telegraph seemed to be at pains to point out that the Academy was not particularly worthwhile to the club by merely stating 10 mill or so has been recouped in transfer fees, but not mentioning the added benefits of having academy players come...

Ticket Prices This Year: Fair or a Put Off?

Shock horror, football fans wanting cheaper tickets! I do believe in general ticket prices are an issue but that we do compare very well to other clubs in our league, that includes clubs who are historically "smaller" than us. Take Walsall for example, their cheapest advance single ticket is...

Who said anything about being bought? you merely claimed I meant some rather than more.

    match packages

They were clearly too cheap last year and the discount per game was in line with a full season ticket. I'm not sure thats right. How much would you end up paying if you went for matches and paid for single tickets?

No season ticket sales now till Xmas

No, I mean more. The signing of Turnbull, the response to the Higgs situation being more concilatory.

No season ticket sales now till Xmas

More positive news from the club, so the hundreds who were turned away the day after season tickets were knocked on the head can now get up there and make a purchase!

    Just a thought......

Im pretty sure the land there is already earmarked for housing developments. However I have raised a similar point previously, why on earth cant our owners get some additional funding (apparently Leonard Brody is good at that) build a new academy, base the academy there, rent it out when not in...
