Must’ve had a bollocking at half time

Injury prone refers to a player consistently requiring treatment, not the same injury reoccurring. Lisandro Martinez wasn’t injury prone until he went to Man Utd and did his metatarsal, followed by several lengthy spells out. Club has form for badly handling injured players in the last few years.

Can’t believe Man City are selling Julian Alvarez, unreal talent who’d be a guaranteed starter in almost every other prem team. 70 million euros in instalments is an absolute bargain by todays standards.

Didn’t know too much about BTA before we signed him but he looked a right handful when he came on, will cause quite a few headaches at our level if he plays like that consistently

in previous seasons individual signings like Rudoni, Dovin and BTA would’ve been marquee transfers, now it’s just business as usual for us

Dovin looks natural with the ball at his feet and making passes. A proper modern keeper.

just saw that Yoro is out for 2-3 months already, absolutely laughable, maybe another injury prone defender they’ve signed.

Man Utd are doing some incredible business about to get Ugarte, and maybe Xavi Simons aswell, almost everyone else seems deathly scared of FFP. Fair play to Ratcliffe, this is the most proactive Man Utd have looked in the summer transfer window for a long time.

    Southgate

I don’t think there’s any rhyme or reason for what makes a good international team manager. On paper, Steve McLaren is a better, and more successful manager than Southgate, yet McLarens England run was abysmal and Southgate was a nose hair from 2 euro championships.

    Southgate

To be fair, De La Fuente hadn’t won anything major as a manager until he took over Spain’s full team (not including youth championships) I don’t think we should judge Howe and Potter too harshly for not winning anything major, as the top clubs with a serious chance of winning anything in this...

    Southgate

It’s the right choice for all parties ultimately, and fair play to him for doing it so quickly. Gives plenty of time to get the right person in and start planning.

    UEFA EURO 2024

Tuchel seems to have fallouts wherever he goes, but he’d absolutely be my first option if I was picking purely on credentials. Great tournament manager, natural winner, and sounds like he wants to come back and work in England as well (though this might be exclusive to premier league rather...

    UEFA EURO 2024

His shot stopping was great, nearly everything dealt with that he could realistically (Xavi Simon’s goal aside, can see how that goes through his hand just through sheer power and surprise). Even his punching, which I usually abhor from keepers, was well timed and well judged. It’s just the...
